Chloe's POV
I woke up and Maddie was was sitting in my bean bag chair on her phone.
I grabbed my phone and looked at it and it was 11:24 why is she up. I got up and she quickly locked her phone. Weird. I ignored it. I opened my door and started smelling bacon
"BACON" I yelled and ran downstairs
My mom was in the kitchen with my step dad cooking breakfast. My phone buzzed and I took it out of my pocket and it was a text from Shelby. I haven't talked to her in a while. I miss her
Shelby😄:Hey how are you
Me: hey I'm good how are you
Shelby😄:I'm good. I was wondering if you want to go downtown today. I miss you
Me: yea shure what time and I miss you too
Shelby😄: how about 1:00?
Me: shure I'll meet you at genes beans
Shelby😄:okay see you then
I put my phone back in my pocket and saw Maddie sitting at the table on her phone
I snuck up behind her to see who she was texting and it was Charleigh
Why is she talking to her
I walked away and went over to my mom cooking breakfast
"Can I hang out with Shelby at 1 downtown" I asked
"Shure" she said
"Yay I'll take Maddie home on my way there" I said
"Okay" she said
All of us ate breakfast and then it was 12:00 so I guess it was kinda brunch I walked upstairs and looked in my closet for something to wear. I pulled out a camo crop top and ripped jean shorts. I changed and did my usual makeup. Maddie put her stuff in my car and we got in. She has been acting weird all day. Maybe Charleigh has something to do with it. I drove Maddie to her house and she got out and got her stuff. She came up to the window.
"So I've been talking with Charleigh and I've decided to choose her side over yours and also I'm not coming back to Magcon so this is goodbye " she said
" okay Um bye then" I said
Well then
I pulled out of her driveway and headed downtown
After about 10 minutes I got there and saw Shelby's blue mustang convertible parked in front of genes beans. I parked behind her and we both got out.
"SHELBY" I yelled
"CHLOE" she yelled
We ran to each other and hugged
"I missed you" I said
"I missed you too" she said
"Okay where to first" I asked
"Well we can go to the bay and talk" she said
