She had to get out of here and fast. She'll never let them catch her and she'll never forgive the person that betrayed her. Even if it was the last thing she did. She quickly packed what she could carry into her rucksack and ran. She'll come back to save her father. But for now she had to go and hide and there was only one place where the Hues would never check.
The devil's land.
It was a place where trees struggled to grow and where only vultures and ravens lived. It was like the dead part of the land where all the rubbish from the city was dumped. It was just on the outskirts of the city and if she left now she could get there by dusk.
She wove through the streets of Carletaz with her head down and her hoodie covering her face and her white hair. Her hair could give her away if she wasn't careful. It was pure white with a streak of black in the middle which showed that she was still a minor learning to utilise her powers.
Her powers.
Something even she was scared of. Her other familily members had normal powers like being telephatic or being able to shape shift or being able to control air, water, fire or earth. The usuals basically. But hers. She was different. And she knew it. From when she was little she knew she was different. It was because of this that her and her father had moved to Carletaz.
But now everything was destroyed.Again.
She hated all the running and hiding. The separation. The death. She was just so tired of everything. Sometimes she wished she was born normal. If she was, she would probably still have a mother, she wouldn't be running for her life and she wouldn't have lost him.
She missed him so much it hurt. But she wouldn't think about him. Not now. Besides, normal was boring. She wouldn't trade her powers for anything.
Or so she thought.**********************
