I have so many memories; so many thoughts, and i don't know what to do with them anymore. There are so many memories that haunt me; hurt me. The thought of Aden makes me hurt inside... Aden was a boy i met when i was 8 years old. His family was best friends with mine. They never brought him over, until one meeting were his parents didn't trust him with a babysitter. Still to this day, I don't understand why they never trusted him.
When Aden came in the door, he was beautiful to me; the way he walked was different compared to the other people who walked threw the door. He walked with grace, and it only made him look even more beautiful. Aden looked towards me, his eyes were the color of butterscotch as it hid under his blond hair.
Aden stared back at me, probably wondering why i am watching him... He probably thinks I'm a freak now.. I tore my gaze away from him and looked behind me at my parents. My mother always looked so young, she had the curves while i didn't. She has always been beautiful in my eyes. I always wondered why i never looked like her, with her pale blond curls and ice blue eyes while i had long black hair and purple eyes. I glanced at my father. He was the same; He looked younger than his age. The only difference between them was the fact his hair was tinted bronze rather blond which he pulled back in the front. He always loved his hair messy.
"Alex, this is Mr and Mrs. Cambria's son, Aden." My mother introduced. All he did was nod his head and star at me, and i stared back. That is what our parents saw before they left to have there meeting.
When i heard the door shut to the office, Aden spoke to me. "Umm.. I am Aden" I kept staring at him, his voice was so pretty. Then i noticed him waiting for me to speak. "I'm Alex.. How old are you?" I asked politely. Wondering why he sounded so nervous. He smiled a little. "I am 10 years old. You?" He asked back politely. So I told him. "I am 9" I paused. "Only 1 year younger then you"
Aden smiled at that, and then looked at me. "Are these really your parent's?" He asked and paused. Not waiting for my answer, he began again. "You look different compared to them..." He paused again. "You have long black hair with dark blue eyes, and your parents don't even have the same eyes or hair color as you.." He stopped talking and stared at me.
I left this memory to return to another one, it happened a few days later. Aden brought me to a park; he knew I never been to a park and never got to go outside. My parents didn't trust me outside; they though it would be dangerous. They have always been protective, ever since i was little baby.
I remember back when i would always try to run out the front door of our house, they always hated it. So they moved into a bigger house with a gate around it, and guards everywhere. Saying "Here, we got a bigger house, now run around in it. Maybe if your good, Daddy will bring you outside." Then she smiled and walked off.
"Alex... Earth to Alex, umm.. You okay?" Aden asked worriedly, he hates when i space out. "Look like you were spacing out again. But... We're here." He pointed towards the play ground and field. I just stared at it, looking at the bright green grass. Then i noticed the flowers, i ran towards them, dropped down by them and started smelling all the different flowers ad scents. I have never smelled a flower that bloomed outside before; i have smelled the one's my mom has inside. When i looked behind me, Aden was staring at me with his big golden eyes, with a huge smile on his face.
"Never smell a flower before??" He teased and then ran towards me. When he got to me he jumped on me. I screamed playfully and i was stuck under him. "Haha... I got.." He stopped.
The feeling that went threw us was like an electric current. It felt weird, but didn't hurt, it felt good.
"What's... Whats happening?? Alex.." His eyes looked so confused. The feeling made me want to be closer to him, i couldn't understand. "Aden.." I'm scared... But i couldn't finish it out loud, cause at that moment Aden kissed me on the lips. Once his lip touched mine, it got stronger, it felt like it was pulling me into him. At that moment, Aden jumped off me, looking terrified.
I went to the next memory of him, when he slept over. Our parents were having another meeting. Aden wouldn't come near me; he told me it was because of the feeling, it scared him. So he sat on my bed next to me, but not close enough to touch me. While he watched TV; I stared out the window. The stars looked like bright lights and the new moon hung in the sky next to them. The new moon looked dark in the sky, but it still looked beautiful to me.
"Alex" Aden stopped, "Umm.. Are you okay?? Your spacing out again." I finally looked at him; his bright butterscotch eyes were clouded. The hollows under his eyes have grown darker. I looked away; I could tell he was sad. "I'm okay... Don't worry..." I whispered, looking at the TV. After while i glanced back at him, he was staring at me again. "Alex.." He whispered. Aden looked down at my hand, with a look of confusion. I didn't know what he was thinking. "Aden, whats wrong?" I asked him worriedly. Then he held my hand, the feeling came back.
"You miss this.." He whispered, knowing; not asking. All i was doing was staring at out hands together.
I laid in bed listening to him hum a song while he held my hand. That night i fell asleep holding his hand, and when i awoke, he was gone.
I left that memory to the last one that wasn't good.
"Alex..." he paused, looking at me. "I'm moving.. My parents are making me, and i am trying to make them stay, but they wont listen to me.. and i don't want to leave you Alex.. I cant.. You're.. I'm.." He stopped and looked down frustrated.
"Aden.. Will i see you again?"" I asked quietly. He looked at me again, seeing tears run down my face. "Alex, i promise. I will. No matter what." Then he pulled me into a hug. The feeling never went away, and we never understood and never asked. It was our little secret. When Aden looked at me, his eyes were still hollow, more sadness then lost sleep. "I..."
"MOMMY!" Jamie screamed from the baby monitor.
