"Have you ever had a burger?" I ask, he shook his head. I gasp for real this time.

Your so unAmerican.

"Who are you?" I ask jokingly, he sighed and takes a seat where Viv told us. I sit across from him and just look at him.

How can someone not have had a burger, Royal guardians must at least get some burger as a reward. I know I would take it.

"What can I get for you to drink?" She asked, I didn't have to look at the menu anymore. They have my usual on file, yeah I come that much.

"Just get my usuals and for him a water and the food portion of my normal." I said, she nodded taking our menus.

"I'm kinda glad you ordered because that menu confused me a bit." He said, I didn't laugh because it was kinda sad.

"Your going to like it, trust me." I said, his eyes got glossy again.

I tried to cut in but their link had some barricade I couldn't break.

"Dakota." I call, he was a statue with those glossy eyes. "Yes." He said, he wasn't look at me just straight.

"Public view." I said, he nodded putting his head down. "Thank you." I said, he hummed a 'Mhmm'.

Marisa came out with our order instead of Vivian. She's my normal waitress, she smiled and noticed Dakota.

"Is this your new boyfriend?" Marisa asked, I shook my head. Dakota raised his head to look at her, he shook his head like mine.

"He's just a new friend. Never had a burger." I said, she gasped at that.

I know right.

"You have to record his first." She said, I laughed at that.

"No I think I'd remember his reaction anyway." I said, she put our tray on the table behind her. Giving us our drinks my usual is a BLT double patty with endless fries and a Coke.

Also a good side of chicken strips and also endless fries. This is why I bring friends with me so I don't look like I'm eating this alone.

They think I should have exploded by how much I eat, I come at least three times a week.

"Do you mind if I watch his reaction?" She says, I shake me head looking at Dakota he just shrugged.

She places our burgers in front of us and the chicken strips on our other side so we could slide it out. I picked up the burger showing Dakota how, he was like a child eating food for the first time.

I took a bite and watched as he took his first small bite. I heard the little crispy sizzle of bacon as it was still deliciously hot.

His eyes went wide open and he melted into the burger. I put mine down and laughed at his reaction. He had a small flush of pink as he took another bite.

"I'm guessing you like it?" I said raising an eyebrow. He looked up from his burger and nodded.

I resisted the urge to burst out laughing, as there was a piece of tomato just hanging out his mouth.
