This time he was right on my tail, he was already in wolf form and I had yet to shift as we got in the forest.

I jumped into the woods only to get pinned by him as he lay above me, my mid shift changing all the way.

I was literally pinned down, but my body didn't resist as I wanted it to. It stayed put, as his snout slowly lowered brushing mine making me purr.

My eyes widened and I pushed him off, running back to the house. He still wouldn't give up, but something stopped me in my tracks and made my heart pound.

The sound of a gun shot rang through the forest as a scream of pain was ringing even louder through my ears.

"Got him." I heard a voice shout, I turned and saw him laying on the floor. He looked lifeless, and my body trembling at the sight. I rushed over seeing a hunter about to shoot at him again.

I rushed in and tackled him knocking him into a tree hearing his spine break as his body went past its bending point. I turned to the other Hunter as he held a gun to me, that wasn't what scared me. It was the fact the he was still alive and panting for air as the Hunter had a the gun pointed right to him.

"Don't make me shoot him." He warned, I didn't dare move.

"I'm going to give you a choice mutt. Save this shit, or your pack. I'm guessing tonight being a full moon and all, this here is your mate." He said, I growled lowly at him as he tsked me.

"Let him go." I warned, but his smile turned to a grin as I felt another presence behind me.

"See you don't have much a choice here. Tell us, or this thing gets it." He warned cocking the gun in hand and putting it close to his head.

I bowed my head at an instant, I heard him chuckle then the sound of more feet came from behind me.

"Lead the way mutt." He said and I growled but did as he said.

"Don't try anything or your mate here gets it." He warned, I didn't have to turn around to see the smirk on his ugly face.

I slowly walked towards the destination, hearing the hunters plotting somethings behind me.

I unwillingly lead them to the house, where Cody was training the little ones. Including that little Alex and new girl with him.

Within a second chaos was in front of me as gunshots were heard, screaming, cries of pain, everything was going crazy.

I was about to go back to check on him but caught the eyes of Cody instead as he was fighting two hunters. I dashed off looking for the one with my mate.

I may hate his guts, but he's my mate no less. I hate this feeling, but felt lucky this pull was still strong enough for me to find him. I found the man with my mate as he had him tied up in human form.

He was naked in only underwear and fear in his eyes. Tears streaming down his face as a hunter had kicked him repeatedly. The cuts and bruises covered his flesh and I snapped. Normally I wouldn't care, but 1 he was my mate, 2 he was still in my pack, 3 it was the full moon and I needed him safe.

I lunged for the guy, but was stopped by a bullet hitting my side making me fall only a few feet away from my mate. I looked up to him as he laid on the floor cold and scared.

I felt a pain at my side before everything went dark, but not without me saying my final words.

"Don't hurt him."

Love is a gamble all its own, go all in and hope for the best. You can't simply show small care, show your willing to take the risk by going all in.

This is merely a part of what's to come, hope you've enjoyed this series as much as I've loved making it. Just so you know I have the third book mainly done, just needs little tweaks here and there.

This might just be a never ending spin off series with all the characters I have, tell me who's your favorite and who you hate the most.
