~Kiera's POV~

It had been six years ever since I found out about Nick's secret identity and the truth behind everything.

And now I was 25 years old and still dating him.

He had become sweeter but still was a cocky jerk, if that made any sense.

Alex had found a pretty girl who lived up in New York so he moved in with her and was studying to be a pediatrician.

He always did have a way with kids. And I say that in the least pedophilish way I can.

Chace had fortunately found the girl of his dreams and had wasted no time at all to ask her out then after one year he married her.

She was actually quite sweet and cute and everybody liked her since she was like a toned down version of me.

I however, had some issues with her and didn't trust her at first since she seemed so unusually happy but learned to get along with her for Chace's sake.

Sighing, I realized it was time for me to go to work so I got up and changed into my business suit ready to go to my office.

I was a psychologist because helping people was a great feeling and apparently I had the skills for it. Anyways, I walked out of our apartment and ran to my car shielding myself from the rain that was heavily pouring.

I turned my car on and then sped off to work. Good lord it was raining hard.

I hummed to myself and turned on the radio, switching the channels until my favourite song "Counting Stars" by One Republic came on.

Singing along, I switched lanes and was almost at work when I heard thunder.

"Holy Cheezus!" I shrieked and parked my car in my parking spot.

I got my spare umbrella from underneath the passenger seat and got out practically running to get inside my office.

Once inside, I sighed out of relief and got into the empty elevator.

Okay that's weird. Nobody was downstairs in the receptionist's office yet the lights were still on.

Why does this feel like a horror movie waiting to happen?

I hugged the umbrella to my chest and gulped hearing the little ding from the elevator. Walking out of it cauiously I noticed that all of the lights were turned off.

"Okay its now or never" I thought to myself while coming near my office.

I twisted the knob slowly and walked in holding my umbrella over my head and yelling, "I WILL NOT HESITATE TO CALL THE POLICE YOU LITTLE FUCKER!"

The lights came on and everyone jumped out yelling, "Surprise!"

I just stood there confused and embarrassed as hell.

My coworkers were laughing at me and smiling. Okaaaaaaaaaaayyy then.

Last time I checked it wasn't my birthday unless it was just a surprise party for me. I mean of course since i'm beautiful and all but this was very abnormal.

"Um can someone tell me whats going on..........." I said slowly.

My receptionist Tracy replied happily, "Just one second, I swear this all will be worth it."

"Um ok?"

I stood there with my hair partially wet and my raincoat dripping water onto the ground.
