The First Time I saw You (Jevie)

Meeting

Evie and Mal run down the streets and peoples lights are turning on. A lot of people heard the shots fired. Jay and Carlos zoom right in front of them.
Evie: Leave us alone.
Jay: Listen, we're all in this together. Were fighting on the same side.
Evie: I doubt it. You're friend killed that man, not us.
Carlos: I didn't mean too. He pulled out his gun and I didn't know what to do.
Mal: So you killed him?
Mal looks pretty scared.
Jay: We have to get out of here, and I can do that.
Evie: You just got your powers, I don't think you're ready for that.
Evie pulls her duffel bag tighter against her shoulder. Salem's head pops out.
Carlos: Aw, you're kitties cute.
Sirens start blaring. Jay and Carlos turn, and when they look back Evie and Mal are gone. Jay grabs Carlos and they run back to camp.
Jays POV:
We arrive back at camp and Carlos's clothes are on fire.
Carlos: Ah, ah!
He drops to the floor and starts rolling around. My dad walks into our room. My dads a general in the war.
General: There's been an attack at the Eiffel Tower. I don't know how those Germans or any of their allies could get right to the heart of the city.
Jay: Um dad, it wasn't the Germans.
General: Then who was it?
Carlos: It was...us.
General: That's ridiculous. You couldn't get back that fast.
I hold up my hand and it starts vibrating really fast. My dads mouth drops open.
General: You're a meta-human.
Jay: I guess. I just found out when those Frenchmen attacked us.
General: This could be great for the war. You can propel attacks before the bullets even leave those Natzi's guns.
Jay: Dad-
General: Wait, their were burn wounds on the victim, are you a meta-human Carlos?
Carlos: No sir, there were other meta-humans.
General: What? Who?
Jay: There was Dr. Light, and another girl who had lightning powers. She sounded Polish.
General: This is bad. Dr. Light is one of Germany's greatest assets. And Poland is under Natzi control, so they most likely have that lightning girl on their side too.
Carlos: Jay could probably beat all of them.
I really wish Carlos hadn't said that. My father looks at me.
General: Everyone wants this war to be over as soon as possible. You can stop it Jay.
Jay: But father-
General: I know son, but you'll do great. I heard of a few meta humans in Russia.
Carlos: But Russia is under heavy Natzi attack.
General: Exactly. You'll ship out later today.
Evie's POV:
I'm on a pay phone calling my mother. She's the female Kaiser of Germany. My fathers the secondary Kaiser.
Evie(in German): I don't know what to do mother.
Kaiser Regina(in German): Well, if England is gaining meta humans, then we should too. The German meta humans are here training but England's most likely getting more. Go to Serbia and get more meta humans. And hurry.
Evie: I also met another meta-human in Poland. I think she'll help.
Kaiser Regina: What's her name and power?
Evie: Her names Mal, she has electrokenesis. And...
Kaiser Regina: And what?
Evie: She's Jewish.
Kaiser Regina: Oh well, does it show?
Evie: Not really.
Kaiser Regina: Okay, well Mallory is a Jewish name, give her a new one.
Evie: Yes mother. I love-
She hangs up. I look at the floor and hang up too. I walk out and Mal is waiting.
Mal: So, what do we do now?
Evie: We're going to Serbia, and you need a new name.
Mal: What about Olivia?
Evie: Okay, I'll just call you Liv.
