I don't get it. I just don't understand. I'm everything a Computer Science college needs and yet I can't get into one.I've tried, multiple times, but every time I do I just get rejected. The last school I was in I got kicked out of, so no chance going back there.
Wait. I'm poor. They don't want THAT.
So plan B was afoot.
I had rented some equipment for this. Special 657y, a couple 99TR's and a 19 Max-plugin. I had the rest with me, so using this all in one big working machine was plenty. Now what am I doing?
I'm hacking into government banks.I know, that's illegal. But I need to in order to survive, or I'm SCREWED. Any more money lost and I'm on the streets for good.
Hoisting the remaining required equipment in my bag, I looked around for my place. I was 3 blocks and a couple light fixtures to my house. Good, gives me some time to check if-
Wait, where's my wallet?
My hand shoots to my back pocket and I feel around. Nothing there. Other pocket; nothing. I curse to myself and run my fingers through my blonde perked hair, huffing. The majority of my cash was in there. There isn't any other choice now, I guess.
I paced up the short flight of stairs to my apartment once I'd reached it, pulling out all the equipment needed plus my filled backpack. Only a few adjustments, some simple plugins, a coding or two and- time had passed, and before I had known it, the computer was set up beautifully. And man, I never thought I'd make a computer with no purpose become so useful. It had worked before, it was just internally broken.
I shut off my lights and closed all my blinds, pulling my hair back and pinning it back with a barrette or two. I cracked my knuckles and hovered my fingers over the not-so-new keyboard, sighing in slight nervousness. "Okay. Here we go."
There where taps and clicks echoing in the room as I worked my magic, hacking my way through the firewalls and guards of the governments security. God, I felt awful, knowing people would find their money missing. But whoever it was probably had much more than I did, and that made me feel a little better.
I felt my heart pick up speed and my hands shook, I was so close; more coding, so much coding to this god-forsaken firewall. While it was tedious, it was simple in my mind.
I heard a small beep and a window popped up, requesting a password. Specifically; government password. I felt myself sweat, my hands shook as I clicked a variety of numbers and hyphens, and the window closed. I was in.
I felt like a criminalistic bastard, why was I doing this?!
It's okay, it's okay. You're very very poor, this is necessary for your own damn survival. Keep going before someone logs into it.
A few more clicks and a bit more typing to pass the system. And there it was, I was in. Over billions of dollars, trillions even were at my finger tips. I wiped the sweat off my brow in anticipation with my green sweater and typed in my bank account number which had an exact amount of $3.72.
I typed in the amount I wanted, about $10000. Well, a little more wouldn't hurt?
$20,000....
Maybe just a little more? Oh to hell with it, the government has plenty of money.
$1,000,000...
I sat back as the number in my account started to build up from 3 digits, to four, to five and so on. I cracked my knuckles and sighed as my bank account was filling up with government money.
"This'll be plenty of money to pay back Antonio the money I owed him." I mumbled, watching my computer screen.
Antonio Vercecci was a wealthy man who was also the boss of the infamous Mafia Gang that everyone feared. I however needed money for the equipment and I asked for a small loan. Say 20 grand? I promised I'd pay him back once I had the money and now I have it! Hahaha, success.
Suddenly my computer screen began to flag red and a siren was playing through my speakers.
"SECURITY BREACH! SECURITY BREACH! SECURITY BREACH!" The voice rang.
"No no no, shit!" I leaned towards my computer trying to bypass the firewall and break the code but my computer was just frozen over, I couldn't type anything and my mouse wasn't working.
Suddenly I heard police sirens blaring and surrounding all perimeters of my home.
"We have you surrounded, come out with your hands up." that sounds like it was coming from outside.
I quickly got up from my swivel chair and carefully peered outside my window to see about 5 cop cars and a squad car. Multiple police officers were crouching behind their cars with their guns readied and the SWAT team had a battering ram heading to my door.
"SHIT!" I yelled. I grabbed my book bag and ran toward the kitchen and stuffed it with a variety of food and bolted out the back doors.
Police cars and officers were waiting on the sides and readied their guns again. I ran to the montage of fences and lept over one, almost stepping on a small dog.
"WE GOT A RUNNER!" The officers yelled. The next thing I knew I was hopping over all fences and fat police officers flipped over, barely 20 feet away from me.
"Hahaha clods!" I yelled out while turning the corner, past the grocery store. I ran inside one of the retail departments and grabbed a hat and jacket, putting it on and throwing whatever money I had left in my pockets onto the countertop.
I looked at myself in disgust. The cops will never suspect this right? Bullshit.
I slowly walked outside of the store, looking down and pulling the brim of my hat down, trying to not be suspicious but honestly it brought more attention.
I couldn't believe I was actually doing this.
I heard sirens blare as the turned the corner but I pulled my jacket together and lowered my gaze so they - hopefully - wouldn't see me. And for a brief moment I thought it worked.
My face slammed up against the stores' wall next to me as I felt my hands uncomfortably fit in handcuffs.
"You're under arrest for hacking into secure government firewalls, what you say may be used against you in the court of law."
I felt a tug and I was lead over back to one of the cop cars and roughly shoved in, I felt myself shake. This was so stupid! I was so stupid, what made me think I could fucking hack a GOVERNMENT BREACH?! I wasn't that smart.
My slightly panicked gaze traveled to the barred window and I stared out, shakily breathing and twitching. How was I gonna get out of this?
A/n: HELLO BEANS. THIS WAS A COLLAB WITH periodtbh and honestly this is gonna get goooood. MAKE SURE TO STAY TUNED AND CHECK HER OUT
