Suyash Rai as Surya------>

Luv stayed with her for full ten minutes as his cousin watched him having an easy conversation. They gaped at him as he bid his goodbye by once again giving her a hug. Surya was with them too, a little bit more shocked than others.

“That was easy.” Luv informed them.

None of them replied and stared at him disbelief. Finally Surya broke the silence, glaring at all his cousins.

“Whose idea was this?” He managed to say. Rashmi raised her hand, never looking at her brother.

“Sorry, it backfired.” She apologized.

Saalo. Purey function main se wahi mili? Ab tumahri wajah se meri band bajegi.” Surya abruptly turned to Luv who looked more confused.

“They were playing with you. Koi Rhythm nahi thi. Remember, Nanki?”

Luv noded. Nanki used to be his classmate and had huge crush on him at that time. She even proposed Luv in front of their mothers. Her mother had just gave an embarrassed smile back then and given a hard slap to her when they reached home. After that Luv had dreaded every moment which he had to spent with her in school and tuition.

“Well, At least that made her day.” Malin said as they watched Nanki grinning in their direction. Luv felt like throwing up.

“Then you guys will explain it to Maa who by the way is standing right behind you.” With that Surya dragged away Luv while their mother started to lecture their cousins.

“That lecture will be worn off by the evening. I tell you they have been creating racket since the preparations have been started and have moved to our house even though they live across the street.”

Luv didn't replied. He hugged Nanki would alone take some time to digest. That stupid girl did not even corrected him when he called her Rhythm. Now he had to hide from her rest of his stay. He cursed his cousins for pulling such a horrible joke and then shamelessly showing up in his room after an hour; raiding his bags and taking whatever they liked, not even sparing his regular clothes.

Later that night, Surya and Luv went to their old room. Surya was going to stay with him until his marriage. They opened the old monk in the balcony just like they used to do eight years ago. In those times, they had to hide their activities. Now, they could do it without fearing ‘wrath of their father’.

Luv updated his brother on his life back in Chicago, girls he had dated so far and initial struggle he had to face to settle. Surya studied his brother, listened to him and thought about coming events. He could not believe he was getting married to a girl his parents had chosen for him. He had not cared anyway. What was there to protest? Saumya was beautiful, educated, owned a boutique in Jaipur and got along well with everyone. His family liked her at their first meeting, so he said yes without thinking twice. He never gave it a second thought, seeing how much everyone was happy for him and after six months of engagement, he was getting married with whole tamzaam. But what made him more happy was his brother's return.

“Bro, are you listening to me or not?” Luv waved his hand in front of Surya.

“Huh?” Surya came out of his trance, “Not really.”

“Already thinking of Saumya?” Luv teased.

Surya shook his head, “Remembering the old times.”

Luv filled his empty glass.

“Nostalgia, I see.”

“Kind of.” Surya shrugged and added, “Don't you want to know what happened here during you were there making dollars?”
