They both snuck into the kitchen. Fidd held the banjo like a baseball bat ready to take a swing. They stopped in their tracks when they saw a naked little creature sitting in the floor trying to eat a cereal box. It paused as they gained eye contact.
"Ew, what is it?" Fidd said in disgust, lowering his banjo.
"I'm not sure, let's catch it" Ford then leaped forward trying to catch the beast with his bare hands. It was far quicker than Ford expected, it eluded his grasp and ran up the wall. Fidd just stood in the door way and watched his lover chase the little beast around the kitchen.
"Fidd watch out!" Ford yelled as the creature jumped toward Fidd. His initial reaction was to hit it with the banjo and he actually hit it right in the face. It flew across the room and landed with a massive thump on the floor. Ford quickly grabbed hold of it.
"Quick get a cat carrier from the living room" Ford exclaimed as he held the squirming creature.

Fidd returned in a flash holding the carrier.
"Ready?" Ford said before pushing the creature into the cage and snapping the lid shut.
"Can we go back to bed now?" Fidd asked with droopy eye lids.
"Well I was going to catalog this in the journal.." Ford paused and looked up at Fidd "yes, we can go to bed now" Ford reached up and grabbed Fidd's hand.
"Finally, I'm so tired"
They both trailed off down the corridor to their bedroom.

They climbed into bed and cuddled for a little while.
"You did lock the cage didn't you?" Fidd asked.
"Yes Fidd, geez you forget to lock the cage one time and you never hear the end of it" Ford huffed.
"Well it's because that cage had a gnome in it and that gnome attacked me so badly I needed stitches!" Fidd exclaimed.
"I'm sorry but yes I did lock the cage" Ford leaned in and kissed Fidd's nose.
"I love you Fidd" Ford whispered.
"I love you too Stanford" Fidd reciprocated Fords kiss by pecking him on the fore head and combing his fingers through Fords hair. They soon fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms.

Meanwhile back in the kitchen.
The creature they had caught had figured out that the lock to his prison wasn't done up properly. His small hands jiggled the latch until it opened. The creature then broke free from its cage and climbed up the wall to freedom.
