amisha a.k.a. Mortal_Demon~i have ocd and i like to write stories with lowercase so yeh.

"we're early. again." I sighed, "there's nothing to do."

"uh, should we just wait in the gym?" amisha suggested, maria's eyes gleaming.

"remember that vent we were curious about? the one that barely gave off air and had noise coming from it?" she questioned, looking at amisha and me expectantly.

"oh, yeh!" amisha grinned, me nodding my head eagerly after thinking for a bit.

"did one of you bring a screwdriver?" maria asked, amisha nodding.

"thankfully my dad was a constructor in his time of existence." amisha said as she pulled her book bag to her front, taking out the rusted old screwdriver.

the three of us quickly made our way to the gym, heading over to the mysterious vent.

"you guys do realize that this could just be a regular vent and we would just get in trouble and probably get covered in dust." i pointed out, as amisha already positioned the screwdriver to one of the nails.

"lisa." amisha whined, "you're ruining the moment. this is badass as fudge. and there's no cameras in the gym nor on this floor. plus we could take our book bags into wherever this takes us and come up and actually close it if there's something worth staying down there for."

"yeh, it's three hours before anyone's supposed to be here anyway. the only reason the doors are open is cause there was some meeting yesterday." maria added as amisha twisted off the first few nails.

"though, if there's an alien creature down there, i call not being tribute." I laughed, "actually, it could be v..." i'm suddenly quite excited.

we laughed as amisha took off the sixth bolt, leaving the gate to be opened like a door.

"i'll go first then." amisha breathed out as no one really moved, seemingly just staring at the soft glow that came from the vent. the gate opened flimsily, small specks of dust dropping onto the shining gym floor, the vent being sloppily painted black, soon fading into a clean metal.

both me and maria nodded at her proposition as we all pulled on our book bags while amisha placed a foot inside, ducking down to fit in as she used the screwdriver as a defense to anything coming. wow, so brave amisha.

the vent was only able to fit one person, then leading to a small drop that seemed like a slide. gently she sat on the horribly painted vent floor that faded into a clean silver metal.

"uh, i'm gonna slide down. if i don't come back up be spartan and let me be the one to take a fox bite to the stomach." she dramatically said, laughing after with me and maria who just shook our heads fondly.

with a push she slid down the slide like vent. maria and i stood there, waiting patiently.

"wait before you come down, it looks like a sewer." she shouted up the vent.

soon after that, we heard amisha shout once again. "lisa! maria!" she called, "get your asses down here!"

maria and i slid down the vent. whoooo, fun!

a few seconds later, we appeared at the vent exit, and there stood amisha. our noses scrunched up from the smell, but eyes wide at what was in front of us. oooh, cool!

the sewer seemed to have a green, mossy glow, although the room was quite dry. on the wall was graffiti written in multiple asian languages. i could tell there was chinese, thai, japanese, and korean. luckily, i learned a bit of korean, being a big k-pop fan and all, although i was never that good at english either, so you can see how i took a while to read the korean. i bet amisha knew what it said right away, being smart and a quite dedicated k-pop fan and all.

'whom who finds this can either be blessed or cursed.'

in front of us, there was a hologram of a computer screen with a button, reading 'start'.

"uh, i guess we'll click start?" amisha asked, with both me and maria huddling to her side as if the room would crumble when she clicked the button.

though nothing had happened. not for the first few seconds at least.
