Alex's POV

At lunch Ashley and I eat at the same table we ate at these past few years. With the same group of friends that are mostly Ash's friends. "I can't believe it's already senior year" I say as we place our trays on the table.

"I know and we're lucky that we have that hot English teacher." She giggles and I glare at her.
"I know you two are so lucky, I have Miss. Jackson." Katy says from the other side of the table. Other from the table join in and complain that they don't have a class with him.

"Well you guys should've taken AP english." I take a bite of my hamburger.

"Well it's to hard." Katy complains again.

"Then don't complain. He's just a teacher."

Everyone at the table glares at me except Ash. These girls don't like me, and vise versa, but I only hang out with them because Ash is my best friend. "What-" They cut me off.

"Look he's over there!" Another girl says not even in a whisper. I turn around, and there's Mr.Fitz. I'm positive he heard her, and knows that it was from our table because all the girls are staring at him, basically drooling. Right as I'm about to turn around we lock eyes and he gives a small smile. Smile back, and turn around.

"OMG, did you see that! He smiled at me!" Katy whispers loudly! All the girls turn around, and start arguing that he smiled at them. Ash is just laughing, and I'm sitting there annoyed. I stand up about to leave.

"Hey, were you going?" Ash looks up at me. Away from these idiots. She knows I don't like any of them, so she just shrugs and turns around. I throw my plate away, and walk out of the cafeteria. Not really sure where I was going to go, but I just kept walking. My feet had a mind of their own because all of a sudden I'm in front of Mr.Fitz door, and he's sitting there eating and watching a video on his laptop.

Without thinking I walk inside. "Aren't you supposed to be doing work?"

I guess I scared him because he jumps a little and throws the food of the fork. I giggle, "I'm so sorry."

He looks at me and blushes a little, "Didn't you only have this class for first period?" He picks up the mess.

I shrug even though he can't see me. "Yeah, but for some reason I ended back here." I see him tense a little and continue picking up the mess. I sit at my desk because it's the closet to his desk.

"Well I wouldn't blame you, your group of friends can be a little embarrassing." He sits up, and chuckles.

"I wouldn't call them friends."

"But I thought Ashley was your friend?" He looks at me confused. His eyes are so beautiful. Stop it Alex!

"Oh she is, but the others are... excuse my language... little shits." I make my lips into a tight line.

He chuckles and it sounds so precious. "It's fine, and when I looked at you I could tell you looked annoyed."

"Really?" I laugh and put my hands on my face. "I done hanging out with them."

"How long have you been hanging out with them?" He throws his plate away.

"Um... maybe towards the end of freshman year? Ash meet them in dance class, so she invited them to our table and they stuck ever since." I pout.

He smiles, "well you're welcome to spend lunch with me- In here if you want. Whenever you want to." He blushes.

I smile, "I'll take you up on that offer."
