Chapter 7-
Waking up from reality kinda sucks, all I could think about was the guy from the fountain.
By the time I got home that night when Eric and Viola dropped me off, I went to Google for research. but there's a lot of people out there with the initials J.A. and the name Andy.
I got absolutely nothing so I gave up. Viola swooned over how Eric has been an amazing lover and fiancee for days.
She almost went into detail about it but I closed my ears and sung the Spongebob Squarepants theme song loudly. I mean I am happy for her that the spark in her love life is back but I couldn't stand it.
I got a call from Sean a week after the ball, he told me that he was doing fine in Japan and decided to stay permanently, finding the love of his life named Yvette his assistant.
I was glad for him, its nice that he could move on. I threw myself into my work, learning how to bake custard filled pies, new cookie recipes and decoration fondants.
Especially now that we have a favorite client that orders the same vanilla chocolate cake everyday has really kept my hands busy.
The past days have been hetic, rave reviews posted online and newspapers about us, Aunty Vero's Bakery.
Even Viola asked me to do her wedding cake, Strawberry banana three layer cake surrounded by chocolate cupcakes.
It would be a lot of work but i didn't care, the more work the better. I came home one night exhausted from frosting.
Its not easy but I needed more of it to not think about the mystery guy. I undressed and prepped myself for a bubble bath.

Four months later:
"Katie, you're putting too much cream in the puff," the voice of my work friend Steven interrupts my thoughts as he walks into the kitchen.
"Huh?" I look down at the tube in my hand realizing that i am overfilling the pastry, it spilling on the countertop. "Crap," I mutter to myself, cleaning the mess I made and setting the puffs aside.
"Everything ok?" He ask with concern standing next to me.
"Of course. Why?" I tell him quickly, moving away from him to frost some cupcakes.
"You've been drifting off to space all week. Is your mind still on a certain guy you danced with?"
"No," I huff out "just tired lately. All these orders and half the time I don't know where its sent." Which is true but a certain mixed colored eyed person kept crawling back into my brain.
"Sure," he says in disbelief. Refusing to argue back, I continued to put vanilla frosting on chocolate cupcakes.
He's been my friend for three years since I started working here, he's always making me laugh if I'm in a mood and he's great at cake decorations.
He's teaching me some tips so whenever he's off I could be able to decorate it myself. His wife of three years Tiffany is really nice, she likes to visit the bakery and orders brownies, specially made from him.
"So your not gonna talk about your gorgeous mystery guy?"
"What's there to tell, I haven't seen him since that night. Maybe he wasn't real."
"But you said his eyes were to die for," he mocks in a high voice.
"I believe I said beautiful." I correct him. Telling Steven one day at work about the ball, he listened, swooned and got a little jealous because of the free food. When I finished he called me delusional for holding on to the handkerchief but not to give up on love.
