16) Say Yes/Keeping It PG

Megan's POV

It had been a week since I marked Jacey and started this game. I had gone back to my normal attire with the occasional girly outfit here and there, but still nothing.

I was starting to get nervous, what if she had changed her mind about me? What if a challenge wasn't what she wanted, but I thought she wanted me. Wasn't that the whole point of marking me an making a big fucking scene!

I felt like I was losing my mind, and it didn't help when I saw all the stares I was getting.

"Take a picture it'll last longer!" The bitterness evident in my voice.

"Why take a picture when I could just take you?" The voice I had been waiting for all week said from behind me.

I whipped around, to the sound of her voice, and stared at Jacey a small smile forming on my lips.

"Now what makes you think you can have me?" I question, as my mood did a full 180.

"Ohh I don't know, maybe the fact you're already mine?" Her question was more of a statement.

I smiled knowing that she was right, even if at one point it scared me, I was her's and I have been for a long time.

"And what do you plan on doing with what's your's?" I question as a smirk starts to form on my lips.

"Well, if she'll have me, I'd like to take what's mine on a date." By the end of her sentence she had my hand in her's and kissed it.

I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks, like she had painted them red. I was at a loss for words, Jacey asked me out. I couldn't believe my own ears.

I soon realized, that while I was in deep thought, that Jacey was losing faith she pulled away and let my hand fall to my side.

"Jacey nothing would make me happier." I stated managing to keep the need to ramble down.

Her face brighten as she processed my words. Before I knew it, I was swept into a hug and was being spon around. I couldn't contain my laughter as Jacey continued to spin me.

Jacey's POV

As I swung Megan in my arms, I couldn't help the laughs that fell from my mouth, listening to her giggle. I was perfectly happy with her in my arms. I had spent a week planning with Mel, on how I could win my angels heart, and I was finally confident in my plan.

There was a lake that had a small beach front in town, I plan on taking her to lunch there maybe taking a dip. Afterwards I planned to take her to a small town drive-in. I was just hoping that it would be a good enough plan to gain her heart.

~~time skip to after school ~~

I waited for Megan outside her classroom, I wanted to walk her home. She came out the door with Jake, they were laughing but they became quite giggles when they saw me.

"Well it looks like you had a good day?" It was more of a statement than a question.

"Yeah it was pretty good." My angel spoke quietly, I almost didn't hear her.

She turned slightly to look at Jake and made a slight movement of her hand, but he ignored her and turned to me.

"Hey Jacey," the smirk on his face told be I was in for a really treat, "what ever your planing on doing with my princess just make sure it's PG." By the end of his request it looked like he was about to die laughing while Megan's face was beat red.

"No promises there, buddy boy." I could feel the cockiness dripping from every word I spoke.

"Ohhhh she's got some sass," he turned to Megan and whisper, " I approve!"

She turned to her friend and punched him in the arm, I got to admit that it looked painful, she signed and stared rubbing her forehead as she turned towards me (completely unaffected by her friend's whining as he rubbed his now red arm).

"So what is it that you want?" Her voice was laced with pure curiosity, all traces of embarrassment gone.

"Well I came to walk the lady home."

"Aweeeee," Jake gushed, "go with her!!" He pushed her right into my arms, where I easily caught her and wrapped my arms around her.

I bented down to whisper in her ear, "Yeah come with me." Her face went beat red again as she slowly nodded her head. With that we were on your way to her house, with her hand resting comfortably in mine.
