15) The Game

Jake's POV

I watched as Megan pushed Jacey against the car and mark her, just as she had been marked. The look of triumph was evident as she turned and walked towards me, when she was half way here she turned back and yelled.

It was easy to see the joy for this new game that she made. I just shook my head, with a small smile resting on my face.

When she got to me she grabbed my hand and pulled me into the school laughing, as always I had found her laughter contagious.

When we arrived at her locker so she could get her thing I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the puzzled look in her eyes as she was searching for a notebook.

"Princess if you remember correctly the notebook your looking for was the one you had Monday, you left it in the classroom, don't worry it's in my locker now."

"Your a life saver, so I'll ignore you calling me princess."

I heard the clicking of heels on the title floor and knew Jacey was just around the corner. Megan obviously hearing in too put her backpack in her locker grabbed her stuff, and started to walk away swaying her hip a little more than usual.

As we started our walk to class Jacey came around corner, she yell Megan's name, and when Megan turned around I swear it was the turn form some teen romance movie. Jacey had been left speechless my Megan and I had to laugh at the site. When she came too she pointed to her cheek and started to speak.

"You know what this means don't you?"

"Oh I know what it means the question here is do you." Megan's voice was full of confidence, it was like it was radiating off her body.

"It means your giving in to me." Jacey managed to state with the same confidence that Megan had.

"Actually it means we're playing a game, if and only if you make me fall for you I'll forgive you. But until then no one can touch you cause just as much as you are mine, I'm yours."

With that being said Megan turns to me leaving a gaping Jacey forgotten.

"Come on Jake, or we'll be late."
