5) Remarking

Jacey's POV

I was sitting in my fourth period class waiting for lunch to start, until I felt my pocket vibrate, I reach into my pocket an grab my phone.

I see a message from Ethan.

Ethan: Meet me before you go to lunch I have some interesting information for you involving your newest victim.

At the mention of Megan my heart beat picks up and a little blush starts to form on my face.

I'm brought out of all thoughts of Megan by the bell indicating lunch has begone. I jump out of my chair and out the door and as fast as I can to mine and Ethan's meeting place. I turn the corner and see him leaning on the wall arms crossed and a smirk on his face. I stop when I'm a couple feet away from him.

"What is it Ethan." I ask getting straight to the point.

"Your little victim is gonna reject you, looks like you should have just stayed with me after all doesn't it." He states in a confident manner that makes me want to punch him.

"Like I would have stay with a cheating bastard like you." I sneered. "And what do you mean she's going to reject me?" I ask curiosity taking over.

"She rubbed off your mark." He states losing all cockiness.

With that I turn around, way too pissed off to deal with his bull shit, I storm into the lunchroom looking around for Megan.

I finally spot her near the back with Jake laughing like this was just another day. I walk up to her and stand behind her, arms crossed and my left hip cocked to the side.

Once she realized that I was there she turned around and looked at me with slight terror in her eyes. I grab her face and turned it to the side to speak into her ear.

"Why? Do you think I'm going to let you get away? Well you have another thing coming Megan, you are mine!" And with that I remark her.

Megan's POV

I was at the back of the lunchroom picking at my food while waiting for Jake to get out of the line, I was think over everything that's happened today and everything about Jacey marking me ... I'm not gonna lie it was kinda hot. I was so embarrassed that I didn't know what else to do so I ran.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Jake setting down his tray with a loud bang that makes me jump.

"Why so jumpy princess?" He ask with a small smile paying on his lips.

"One your a dick for scaring me, two if you don't stop calling me 'princess' I'll tell Ethan you've liked him since eight grade." I challenge, my voice has a hint of confidence in it, knowing it will shut him up.

"You wouldn't dare!" He sneers.

"Ohh I would and you know it!" I reply in and overly cheery voice, and with that we burst into a fit of laughter.

For those of you that want to know Jake is gay, he has been for most of his life well since seventh grade, and he's been crushing on Ethan since he first saw him playing in a football game.

As I notice Jake's laugher die down I look up at him and see he's looking at something that's behind me.

I turn around feeling slightly panicked, and extremely scared. I see the one person I was hoping to avoid for the rest of my high school life ..... because standing right behind me is Jacey.

She grabbed my face and turned it to the side so she could whisper in my ear, what she had to say made my blood run cold.

"Why? Do you think I'm going to let you get away? Well you have another thing coming Megan, you are mine!" Her voiced was laced with a certainty that scared me.

She pulled away just enough to remark my cheek, then pulled away fully.

By the time she pulled away I was in tears, I got up and bolted to the doors not caring about all the stares I was getting.

I heard footsteps behind me and then a voice ,than pissed me off beyond belief.

"Jake you should really stop playing prince, especially with what's mine." I heard Jacey say.
