Marissa's POV

"Come on hurry up Marissa!" Mark yelled to me as I was coming down the stairs. We are going to take a trip to my new University. Or should I say my new home for the next four years.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" I stated as I walked down the stairs. He greeted me with a warm smile and said "you look wonderful love!" I really wasn't all that stunning today I was dressed in a nice purple blouse a pair of white shorts and my new Galaxy Vans. It was a warm summer day in Wolverhampton. We were headed out my front door hand in hand as my mother stopped me. "Marissa?" she exclaimed as I whipped my head around, what is it this time I thought. "I just wanted to say, have a fun time dear." Well that wasn't as bad as I expected...

"Thanks mum! Love you"

"Love you too darling, bye Mark!"

As we hopped in the car Mark and I both gave a light wave to my mum as we pulled away in Mark's Old Sports car. As we drove we listened to the radio and made some short conversation...I was just thinking about what had happened before with him and how devastated I was the last time Mark cheated on me. Just a short month ago.

Flashback

The club music was so loud I hated clubs. I don't know why but to me they just feel...icky. I headed to the ladies room to get away from all the sweaty people. Ew. I don't like clubs because you never know what you can find, even in the bathrooms. But luckily there was no one but me. Thank you Lord!! After I was finished I went to find Mark but he was no where to be seen. I looked everywhere but still didn't find him. So I decided to sit down and order a Coke. I asked the bar tender for my selected drink and when it came I turned around to see Mark coming out from a darkened room making out with some mystery girl. Ugh! I was furious I gave the bartender a good tip and stormed over to him with tears streaming down my face.

"How could you Mark!!!! How could you!" I screamed at him.

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't know." He replied I could tell by the smell of his breath he had one to many drinks. I had had enough, I stormed out of the bar and called my best friend Lori to come pick me up.

End of Flashback

"What's wrong love?" Mark asked me taking his eyes off the road to look at me as I snapped out of my day-dream.

"Nothing I'm fine" I replied and he took his gaze back to the road. Mark had cheated on my two times already and I wasn't sure if I could handle a relationship with someone who has broken my heart like that. I had told myself that one more time and it's three strikes you're out. Lori had constantly told me to ditch him...or what she likes to call "ditch the dick." and I was thinking maybe she was right but Mark had pleaded so hard and wouldn't leave me alone I just couldn't tell him no, or not yet anyway. The car came to a halt and Mark said "We're here Marissa"

"Wonderful" I said all too sarcastically. "Wonderful"

As we walked around the Uni I saw many people roaming around as we were. Mark and I went to my dorm room, the library, and some of my classrooms. Sure I am devastated to leave my friends and family but I am also excited to experience the University life.

"Ready to go love?" Mark asked me.

"Sure, could we get some ice cream on our way home?" I asked

"That sounds wonderful!"

After our short ice cream run Mark dropped me off at home, and we bid our goodbyes. He told me he was going clubbing with a few friends from the past school year.

"Just be safe ok." I told him. "Don't get into any fights."

"I won't love, trust me!"

"Alright, if you say so.."

"Goodnight darling. See you soon!" Mark exclaimed.

"Goodnight, have fun and be safe." I said as I shut the door. Well this should be interesting lets see how well he can handle tonight.
