Marissa's POV

I had tried to call and text Mark numerous times but I didn't get any answer. I should probably go to Ian's flat to see how they are doing. I think that's where Mark said they were going to be?! I got into my car and began the drive to Ian's.

When I arrived at the flat I ran up and rang the doorbell. I saw a brunette coming to the door to open it for me. Then Mark after her.

"Oh hello" the brunette giggled

"Hi, Marissa I didn't expect to to be here at this time." Mark exclaimed.

"Yup, just wanted to pop by and see what was going on and who is this I may ask" as I pointed to the brunette.

"Oh I'm Kyla, I came back here with Mark."

"Oh did you?" I questioned.

"Mark, you cheated on me again didn't you" I said with tears welling up in my eyes.

"Yes." Mark said with his head hanging low.

"Again!!!!! Really you didn't realize you were in a committed relationship! Come on three times now!!! Mark we are OVER. I'M SO DONE!!!!" I screamed as I stormed from Ian's flat to my car, and drove away as fast as possible. One week left until college and he broke my heart again.

I drove home and didn't even get to unlock my door and immediately started bawling. It was too much. Almost starting the in the Uni and my boyfriend for two years just cheated on me a third time. I cannot take it anymore. I headed up to my room to have some time to myself.

My mother got home extra late. My mother is a specialty doctor that works with infants and my father is a chief executive advisor. Thankfully they both got home late. She called me down to dinner. I had red puffy eyes, and a stuffy nose from all the crying. I literally cried for four whole hours nonstop. So when I head downstairs I am ready to be bombarded with questions.

"Mar, honey what's wrong?"

"Nothing, mum I'm ok, trust me really I'm fine." I said stifling another sniffle. "Well obviously something is wrong because you haven't cried since Mark cheated on you." And that's when it all went down. I started bawling yet again, I told her the whole story and she was shocked.

"Well that's not the Mark I used to know" she exclaimed frustrated at his actions.

"They're is some ice cream in the fridge."

"Thanks mum!" my mother know me too well. I grabbed the tub and settled down on the couch. Charlie St. Cloud the film was on. I love that film I always cry. Oh what the hey I've been crying earlier this evening so it doesn't matter anyway.

After the film was done I checked my cell and look who texted me...Mark. Great. I have seven more days until the Uni and he cannot interfere with my already busy life. Plus I have to go to work tomorrow as well. I work at a local shoe store called Designer Shoe Warehouse. I've been working there for two years now since I was sixteen. I work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. My last day is this Saturday two days before I leave for the University. But overall it's pretty good job I've made some good bonds with some workers and the pay is decent.

"Marissa shouldn't you be packing for the Uni?"

"Oh yes sorry mum" I totally forgot to pack my last minute things for the University, after all I do leave Monday. I'm so excited, on that note I headed to my room to finish my packing. I put on some Katy Perry to jam to and just as I got into the grove of packing my phone rang. Caller ID, Mark. Wonderful just what I need another thing to screw up my already ruined day, that was ruined by the same person who is calling me now. I slid the screen to answer. Lets see how this goes.

"Hello, Marissa?"

Kind of a cliffhanger. Read more to find out! Don't forget to comment and vote! Thanks!! 💜
