[Setting: Dupain-Cheng residence, Sunday morning]

"Mom! Where's my diary?!" Marinette yelled, going through her room for what seemed to be the thirtieth time. Her mother responded as long as her father with a blunt "No sweetie." Marinette groaned and back flopped onto her bed. She needed to lay down, she has been freaking out for the last hour...or three. She forced herself up and headed to the living room. Just then her cousin Bridgette walked in. "Hey Mari, I found this under your balcony" Bridgette said, handing Marinette her diary. Marinette squeaked and snatched her diary. 'How did it end up down there?' she thought to herself. Bridgette flopped onto the couch and opened her diary as well. She has had it since high school, never dreamed of getting rid of it. The two sat on the couch and chatted for a bit, writing in their own diaries. Then suddenly the alarm clock blared and beeped. Marinette shut it off and the two got up and got dressed in more formal clothes. They then put on their apron's and headed downstairs to the bakery. They had big smiles on their faces as they were greeted by Tom and Sabine. They both went to work right away. With the huge success with the bakery, they had moved to a new building. The bakery now had a cafe in it and the upstairs living space was bigger. In other words, Marinette and Bridgette no longer had to share a room. Bridgette and Marinette both took the customers orders from the tables. Sabine and Tom took care of the meals and desserts. Business has been great for the family. Sadly for Marinette, school was starting again. "You'll be fine Mari! It's just eleventh  grade!" Bridgette said, serving a couple two mugs of coffee. Marinette sighed, giving a man his soup. "I know, I just can't help but worry! I bet you anything that Chloe will be in my class AGAIN! And worst of all, I'll embarrass myself in front of Adrien again..." the two girls wiped down two tables and shared a glance. Bridgette sighed and smiled at her cousins worrying. Marinette just groaned and rearranged the chairs. Sabine and Tom just smiled at the sight of their daughter and niece. "Hey-" Bridgette said, sliding to Marinette's side, "-your ladybug, you can do this!" she whispered to her cousin. Marinette smiled at her cousin, who so happens to have been the ladybug before she was. They both shared a giggle and got back to work. What could go wrong? Bridgette was starting school with her this year, it's gonna rock!

[Setting: Agreste Mansion, Sunday noon]

"Plagg, how can you stand that smell?" Adrien said in disgust. Plagg just chomped down on his cheese and burped. "Disgusting..." Adrien muttered. Adrien was sitting in his room, waiting for the arrival of his older cousin Felix. It's been a long time since Adrien has heard from him, so he is excited. Well, was excited. Plagg ruined the moment with his cheese. Adrien's phone buzzed, showing a group text from Nino and Alya. He typed his response and sent it. He sighed. He has texted and had hung out with everyone from his class. Well almost everyone. He hasn't really talked to Marinette during the summer.  It's not that he hates her or anything, he enjoys her very much. It's just...he thinks he scares her. She's always jumpy around him and can never seem to keep calm. He felt awful, maybe he should have visited her. Well, he can't undo his choices now. Besides tomorrow is the mark of a new school year, his goal is to get Marinette calm around him! They will hang out more! "Adrien, your cousin is here" Nathalie said. Adrien nodded and hurried downstairs to greet his cousin. "Felix!" He exclaimed. Felix looked up from his book to his cousins direction. "Hello Adrien..."
