Chapter 8

[Setting: Dupain-Cheng Bakery]

Marinette and Bridgette flew into their separate rooms. Marinette face planted onto her bed just as she began to de transform. Bridgette collapsed onto her couch just as the transformation ended. Tikki fell right beside Marinette who pushed herself up to retrieve cookies for the small bug. After they all charged up and got some rest, the girls started on their most dangerous task yet. Physics homework. Both girls mentally died as they unwillingly sat at their own desk in one of the extra rooms they had. It had turned into the work room. The girls disliked it very much. As they thought and concentrated, Tikki gave them the support they needed. With a smile, the two heroines finished their homework in no time. Just as they put their things away, they both headed down to the living room. Tom was putting on a hat as Sabine was on the phone. After she hung up, she announced that she and Tom were going to dinner and that her friend would come by later to drop off Manon. After the last Akuma, the girls could handle the 5 year old girl. They all say in the living room, playing with the dolls of Chat Noir, Ladybug, and all the villains which Bridgette and Marinette both made. This time, Manon wanted them to make two more dolls, of the new heroes who joined the miraculous duo. Both girls finished making the dolls while Manon played with the Puppeteer doll. Just as they finished the final touches, the doorbell rang. Marinette got up as Bridgette put the sewing supplies away and Manon stared at the two new dolls in awe. Marinette opened the door and stood there for a bit...before blushing due to one of the people standing there. Alya, Nino, Ayla, Nico, Felix, and Adrien were standing there, all with smiles. Without permission, they all walked in. "Woah dude, you have dolls? Sweet" Nino said. Manon looked at them all weirdly. "Who are yo-" she started, but stopped as soon as she saw Alya. "UNI!!!!" She exclaimed, tackling Alya in a hug. Alya swooped her in the air as the boys looked at her confused. "Uni stands for unicorn" Alya simply stated. The boys just slowly nodded, still confused. Bridgette reappeared and blushed a bit at the sight of Felix, but quickly shook any thoughts out of her head after remembering something. She then clasped her hands and put on a big smile. "Who's ready to baaaaakkkkeeee?" She said in a sing song voice. Manon squealed and hopped up and down. "Me! Me! Me! Me!" She chanted. Manon grabbed both Marinette and Bridgette's hands and dashed to the stairs. "C'mon Uni!" She called. Alya smiled and followed, the others following her.
