Marinette had done it, she had caused her and her cousin to be running to school, trying to beat the tardy bell. They even missed breakfast! They ran into the school and rushed upstairs.
Everyone in the classroom all murmured, wondering if the girls were coming today. Then they started the countdown.
"10!"
Alya was recording, along with Nino.
"9!"
Alix and Kim started with their bets.
"8!"
The teacher raised an eyebrow, seeing that her class can count at the same time with no mistakes.
"7!"
Chloe was taking selfies.
"6!"
Lila was making kissy faces at Adrien's head.
"5!"
Max felt a weird sensation, and then he figured it out.
"4!"
The two new kids were sitting there confused.
"3!"
Adrien and Felix both looked worried.
"2!"
The doorknob turned and the door started to open.
"1!"
Both half Chinese girls fell forward and into the classroom. As soon as their feet entered the classroom, the bell rang and they were safe. The whole class cheered at high fives each other. Both girls huffed and hopped up off the ground, smiling at each other. That is, until the two new students cried out to Bridgette.
"BRIDGETTE!!!" The two voices yelled. In an instant, Bridgette ran and glomped both of them. "NICO!!! AYLA!!!" She cried, hugging them tighter. Felix tensed up. Now they were joining them.
