I open my eyes and look around, immediately noticing I'm in a hospital. I move my neck and wince, feeling a sharp pain near my chin.

"I see you're awake." A deep voice says, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Nara-san? What am I doing here?"

Shikaku Nara walks deeper into the room and he smiles at me. "I told you that there was no reason for formalities. At how many times you come to visit, I basically think of you as a daughter!"

I smile and nod. "Thank you Shikaku-san!"

"Anyways, I would like to know what exactly happened before you fell into my son. From my knowledge, you were walking home with him so you two could get to the compound together, correct?"

"Yes, but I had left my backpack at the entrance. I had Shika go on without me and I went back to the academy to grab it." I tell him, starting to recall exactly what happened. "I went walking towards your compound and I got attacked by three....two Hidden Mist nin. I got a kunai thrown at me and I got this scratch."

I raise my hand to where the injury used to be. Because of the medic-nin, It was just a scar. "Then another tried to choke me. I luckily got away but I had been running low on chakra."

He nods slowly, processing the information. "Where's Shikamaru?" I suddenly ask.

"He's at the academy. You slept through the night and a few hours through the day."

I sit up almost immediately. "Woah kiddo. You need to rest."

"Thanks for your concern Na- Shikaku-san, but I need to get to the graduation test. I need to become a Genin!"

He looks complexed for a moment before sighing, clearly defeated. "Alright, but I want your brother by your side the whole day, got it?"

I tilt my head in confusion. "Sasuke's here?"

Shikaku walks out of the room and was replaced by a terrified Sasuke. He noticed me sitting up and sighed in relief, sprinting over to me.

"I told you that you can't walk alone!" He mutters sternly, right before he hugged me tightly. "You had me worried sick!"

I chuckle. "Sorry Sasuke-nii. I'll try to be more careful. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the academy?"

"No. I couldn't just leave you here alone. Shikaku told me to give Iruka-Sensei this-"

He pulls out a letter and then shoves it back in his pocket. "so we won't get in trouble."

I nod and we both leave the hospital. "Will you carry me Nii-san?"

He nods and i jump on his back, while he moved his arms so he could support my legs. "I'm going to have a nice conversation with Shikamaru once we get to the academy." He growls.

"No!" I say. "It was my fault! I told him I would be right back, he was the one who didn't want to do it! Please, Sasuke!"

He sighs before nodding subtly. Before long, we reach the doors of the academy and I jump off of my twin. Iruka-Sensei meets at the door with a smile on his face.

"Hello Chikara, Sasuke." He greets. "No need to worry, the Hokage has already alerted me to the reason of your tardiness. You're excused."

I grin before walking into the classroom. Almost immediately, Shikamaru, Choji, and Naruto walk up to me. Sasuke takes his seat in the corner of the room, trying to escape his fangirls.
