Hell over me (Pierce The Veil Fanfiction)

Chapter one

'This was it', I thought to myself.

'I'm finally doing it.' I went back to reality. It was silent but a faint playing of graduation music was playing. After 4 years of tears, sweat, book after book and page after page, I was finally graduating college.
"Evelin Torres,", they finally said. I got up and I could hear my family cheer for me in the stands. I walked up the stairs and received my diploma holder. I walked off and cheered slowly to myself. I'm finished. I sat back down and watched the other final students receive their diplomas. Soon when it was over, we stood up and everyone looked at each other. The dean gave his last and final speech and we moved our tassels to the left.

"On the count of 3. 1, 2, 3..." I heard someone say. Everyone threw their caps in the air. I caught mine and smiled. I walked around to find my friend Jessica. I spotted her and walked up to her.

"Evelin! I'm so proud of you.", she said, "We can finally leave Arkansas and go to San Diego." I hugged her and she hands me roses and balloons.
"Jess! Thank you. I did it. I finally did it.", I said. She smiled and hugged me tight. We went to our place and as I walked in, I turned on the lights and was surprised by all my friends.

"CONGRATS", they shouted. Confetti poppers came at me and I laughed. As soon as the party started, I escaped for a bit and went to my room. I sat on my bed and began thinking to myself. My life was not like this 5 years ago. I look at my wrist and saw my fading scars. One after another. I remembered everything that happened those years back. I shook my head and wiped the tears that escaped. I heard a knock on the door and Jessica stood at the door.

"Evelin, what are you doing here? Come out for to the party. Your cake is here.", she said as she sat next to me. I quickly cover my scars. Hoping she didn't noticed.

"Oh, I'm just admiring the fact that we start packing tomorrow. We finally get to see our Danielle.", I told her. She smiled and hugs me.

"Yes, we finally get to see our Danielle. Come, we got plenty of pictures to take so we can frame them all.", she said holding out her hand. I took it and we went out to the party with our friends and family.

"Evelin, can you get more of those boxes?", Jessica said as I heading to get my keys. I was going out to get us some food since we've been packing all day. I don't know about Jess but I was very hungry.

"Yeah, I'll stop by.", I said heading out the door. I rode out of our neighborhood and onto the highway. As I rode down the highway to our favorite eat out place, I noticed a billboard ad for a concert, Pierce the Veil was on tour. I jumped a little looking at it. They were my favorite band ever and they saved me from doing some stuff I should not have been doing. Even though I've never been to any of their concert or even met them, they still have done alot for me. Jess and I tried so hard to get tickets even down in San Diego, but by the time we looked, they were sold out. I sighed and I quickly drove faster to get what I needed.

"Next flight to San Diego now boarding.", said the lady over the radio.

"That's our flight", Jess said, "You ready for this?" I looked over to her. I took a deep sigh and tears escaped my eyes. These were my final steps in my hometown. She smlied and hugged me. I hugged her back and cried into her shoulder.
"We can do this. We've been planning for such a long time.", she told me. I nodded and cleaned myself up as I came up to look at her.

"I'm ready.", I told her. She smiled and held onto my hand. We boarded our plane and sat in our seats.

"Call Danielle before the plane starts and tell her we'll be there in a few. And ask her if our stuff arrived at her house yet.", she said as she got comfortable. I nodded and called Danielle.

"Hello?", Danielle groaned, I'm guessing she was still sleeping.

"Danielle, sorry for waking you up but we just got on the plane and we'll be there in a few hours. Did our stuff get there yet? ", I asked.

"Eves, so good to hear. No worries I was just about to get up anyways to cleaned up but yeah, your guys stuff got here yesterday. I believe we are just waiting for a dresser and for you.", she replied. I chuckled.
"Oh ok then, I'll let Jessica know. I guess We'll see you n a few. Love you Dan.", I said.

"Love you guys too.", she said then hung up.

I looked out the window and looked at the clouds. I soon fell asleep.

After 2 hours, Jessica woke me up.

"Hey, we're about to land. Do you have your things?", she whispered moving me softly. I opened my eyes and yawned. I stretched and nodded. I gathered my stuff and waited for the plane to land.

We walked off the plane and were welcomed by Cali - weather. Sun shining bright as fuck.

"Well, you ready for this new lifestyle?". Jessica asked as we got down the plane. I looked at her and squinted. She laughed. We headed inside to grab our bags and I looked around for Danielle. I looked over to the Starbucks, and I spotted a girl with jean overall shorts, a white t-shirt, red hair up in a bun and black Vans. I saw she had ordered a green tea and immediately knew it was Danielle.
"Found her.", I said to Jess. She looked over to who I saw and laughed.

"Danielle!", I yelled out. She turned around and smiled big. She grabbed her drink and ran towards us. I dropped my stuff and ran to her. We ran into each other and she catches me still holding on to her drink. We gave each other a super tight hug and tears developed in my eyes. I could hear her cry in my neck.

"Aww babes. Don't cry. I'm here now.", I told her . She looks at me and I wiped her tears. She smiles and chuckled as I caught myself on my feet.

"Fucking finally. We've been apart for too long.", she said wiping my tears. We laughed and walked hand in hand. Jessica grabbed my luggage and walk up to us.

"This trio will never split apart.", Jessica said. We smiled and all hugged each other. We grabbed our stuff and headed out to Danielle's car.
"Well now that we are altogether, Danielle we can finally get Evelin wasted.", Jessica followed as we left the airport. I looked at her.

"Just because I'm not focused on school anymore, doesn't mean I'm going to start partying now. Hold up.", I told them as I put my stuff in Danielle's car and got into the passenger seat. They laugh and completely ignored me.

"Yes and get her all the tattoos we talked about.", Danielle added. I laughed.
"Funny, a tattoo?", I said looking at them.

"Yeah. Come on. It's cute and all the guys dig it.", she answered as we left the parking lot.

"I don't know. I'm kinda more of a big chick and tattoos are well..." I started.

"You're getting one and that's final.", Danielle interrupted me. I smiled. This could be nice maybe.

We headed to Danielle's house and unpacked what we could. Tonight was going to be our first night out together. We were super excited. After all of us getting ready, Danielle called us and Uber and we were out for the night.
