Chapter 5

Owen's POV

I was really worried for Riley. She was exploring the park and could be anywhere. She might not even hear that they had bring in all the guests. What if the Indominus found her and ate her? What am I going to tell mom and dad about her? 

In Owen's Mind

Dad: Hey son. Where's your sister Riley?

Mom: Yes where is she? We told you to look after her.

Owen: Oh yeah about that she got eaten. But no worries she's in a better place now!

Dad: Son, how could you? Once again you have disappointed us.

Mom: Not only us but the whole Grady family. What a disgrace to the family.

"Great, I'm once again a disgrace. Not only do I have to carry the disgrace, I have to carry the guilt of letting my sister get eaten. Ugh! Fuck fuck fuck!" I yelled. Just then Claire came running to me.

"Owen! I need you. I need your help! It's my nephews! They out in the valley-" Claire began but I cut her off.

"Is my sister out there with them?" I asked.

"Yes. Not in the same gyrosphere but yes out there with them. Now please help me get them please. If anything happens to them..."

"How old?"

"The older one, he's high school age. The younger one, he's... He's a few years..."

"You don't know how old your nephews are?"

"No no. And you thought your sister was 12!"

"I was joking! You think that you spent all of you life with a person, you wouldn't even know their age? Well, clearly it happens because you don't even know your nephews' ages."

"Let's just go find my nephews and the your sister."

Zach's POV

I saw another gyrosphere and knew that it would contain Riley. Knowing her, she's a dare-devil.

"Bad idea, bad idea."

"Great idea."

"No! We're gonna get arrested. They'll shave our heads, and we're gonna have to make root beer in the toilet."

"What are you talking about? There. You see? I told you. You're welcome. Up close and personal with four dinosauruses."

"Ankylosaurus. We shouldn't be here. And there's five dinosaurs."

"Aren't you supposed to be a genius or something? Look. One, two, three, four."

"Five." Gray pointed at the dinosaur that I failed to see. Now I understood why I failed to see, it was a reflection. Wait it was a reflection... I looked behind me. It seems that Gray had the same idea in mind. Right behind us was a... White T-Rex? 

Riley's POV 

I saw a white T-Rex right behind Gray and Zach! I screamed for them to go, but I also realized that I had to go too! I was going just as Zach and Gray were. I, apparently, didn't see the Ankylosaurus right in front of me so I ran right into it. It hit me with its tail which made me roll to a different place. Hopefully far away from that thing. My gyrosphere crashed into a tree making a piece of glass pierce my skin. I groaned in pain, but once I heard Gray and Zach's screams I ran out of the gyrosphere and went to a nearby tree where the white T-Rex wouldn't see me but I could still have a view of what was going on. The T-Rex had the gyrosphere by its teeth and had sinked its teeth in the glass pushing the gyrosphere to the ground. It broke the glass and was ready to the kill. Luckily Zach thought to take off the seat belts, which made them fall giving them time to run while the T-Rex was occupied with the gyrosphere. I ran from my tree but still hidden from the T-Rex. Finally the boys stopped at the waterfall.

"Crap. We're going to have to jump." I heard Zach say from behind my new tree.

"I can't" Gray said scared.

"On three. One. Two-" I didn't wait for three. I ran from my tree and saw the T-Rex coming for us. I pushed them down the waterfall along with myself. I felt the piercing cold water on my skin and the prickling pain on my wound where the glass was still embedded. I wanted to go up so badly and by the looks of it so did Gray. As I was going up to get a breath, I felt a hand on my waist. I saw Zach holding me down with a finger to his lips. He started to grab Gray as well telling him to be quiet. Once I saw the T-Rex was gone I pointed upward towards the surface. Gray and I went up to the surface along with Zach who was still holding my waist. I finally could breath again and the pain. Right now I was still numb from the cold. We made it to the shore of the waterfall. We laid down. Me in the middle, Gray to my right, and Zach to my Left.

"You did it! You jumped!" Zach told his little brother.

"Technically Riley pushed me but yeah I still jumped... ish."

"Doesn't matter. We're alive and well. Right?" I asked.

"Yep." The boys answered in the same time. I started laughing and hugged the two confused boys. Then they started laughing and we all laughed until my glass decided to ruin the moment. That's when I felt the pain.

"OW!" I screamed. 

"What is it?" Zach asked. I took my left arm off of Zach and brought it down to see. It was a big piece with a little bit of glass showing. That meant that half of it was in my skin.
