Only One for Me~ Jurassic Park (A Zach Mitchell Fan fiction)

Chapter 3

Zach's POV

Wow! Riley looks really hot! What are you saying Zach? You have a girlfriend! Stop it! 

"Riley looks cute. You should dump Ava." Gray said to his older brother.

"Shut up. We're in public." I snapped at him which ended the conversation. But I did think that Riley was cute and I already has Ava. Then again, Ava is very clingy and very annoying. Is Riley that why? The way she talks and her body language tells me that she's really different from other girls. They care about their hair and makeup every morning while Riley seems to only put on lotion, lip gloss, and sunscreen. How can I tell? One word. SMELL. She mostly smells like sunscreen. I guess it's better than food smell or else she'd be dinosaur chow. I was so bored. Zara wasn't even watching us. She was talking on the phone with someone on the other line about... Her wedding? Wait what? Then my light bulb clicked on, which doesn't really happen a lot. 

"Scatter." I said.

"What?" Gray asked.

"Go. Run. Go!" I said. We ran until we were Zara's sight. 

"The next T.Rex feeding will begin in 10 minutes." The voice in the intercom said.

"Come on let's go!" Gray said with that annoying enthusiasm voice. All of a sudden I feel my pocket vibrate. 

"Hey mom!"

Riley's POV

Claire came to the plaza in like 5 minutes when it can take me like 30 minutes for me to get to the main plaza on foot. I was all ready to have fun on my once in a life time day off! As I was on my way to open the door, Owen gave me that adult pep talk while the voice in the intercom was talking about the T.Rex feeding.

"Remember no smoking, no alcohol, no beer, no making out without my permission, and when a perverted guy comes up to you kick him in the crouch. Got it?" 

"I just have one question, how come I haven't kicked you in the crouch?" I asked with a smile. Owen gave the "look."

"Because I'm not that perverted. Got the rules? Oh and make sure when someone tries to kidnap you kick them in the crouch and bite their hand/arm and run!"

"Yeah yeah. Ok ok. Gee Dad. Bye Love you!" I said getting out of the car.

"Love you too! See you soon! Remember the rules! Call me if you need anything!" Owen said before Claire rushed off. Well, there's no point in going to the T.Rex feeding. Owen took forever with his "rules" that he never told me before and plus, I already saw the raptors rip up pigs that were still alive, so  I already knew that the T.Rex would eat the goat in a gulp. But I never went to the Mosasaurus show. When I got there I saw Zach and Gray sitting. Gray was hopping up and down in his seat ready for anything that happened while Zach was on his phone having no interest whatsoever. Come on! I went up to them.

"Hey guys!" I said with a smile and enthusiasm. 

"Hi Riley!" Gray said.

"I can tell you are very excited for the Mosasaurus show." I said nodding my head. The kid nodding vigorously.

"Here!" Gray said. He moved to the next chair so I can seat between him and Zach. 

"Thank you Gray." I said. I sat down.

"Hi Zach." I said. But all he did was look up from his phone, smiled, nodded, and went back to his phone. Can he at least show that he has interest being here? I leaned in to whisper in his ear. He must of taken the move a little differently because when he saw I was leaning, he backed away slightly. I just kept going. Once I finally reached ear I whispered,

"Can you at least show interest? You little brother over there is very excited to be here so at least show that you care about him." I backed away. I looked at Gray. He didn't seem to noticed that I whispered to Zach which was a good sign. For the rest of the time, I was engaged in a conversation with Gray talking about the raptors. Then the show started.

"Hello everyone! I'm Linda. I'll be your presenter today. Here in this ocean is Mo the Mosasaurus. The Mosasaurus was thought to have hunted near the surface of the water where it preyed on anything it could sink its teeth into,including turtles, large fish,even smaller Mosasaurus." Said Linda. While Linda was talking more about the Mosasaurus, I saw that Zach was on his phone texting another girl. That made my heart drop. Not that I liked him or anything. It kinda looked like they were kinda fighting.

"You might want to put your phone away. It might get damaged for what's coming next." I whispered to Zach. He nodded and put his phone in his pocket. He should thank me for getting out of the fighting. With any luck, he might just break up with her, even though I have no idea who she is.

"Okay, folks, let's see if she's still hungry after already eating today.She's a little shy, so be nice and give her a hand when she comes out." Linda said interrupting my thoughts. I got really excited. As if on cue, a crane came in with a great white shark hanging from it. And after a couple of minutes, Mo came up and grabbed the great white shark, leaning back and making a big splash as she got back in the water and we all got soaked.

"My god that was awesome!" Zach yelled at me!

"I know!" I yelled back! I looked to my left seeing that Gray had been completely soaked like Zach and me and was laughing and having the time of his life.

"Hold on tight. We're gonna give you an even closer look at our Mosasaurus." Linda said as the seats down.

"Where are you guys going next?" I asked Zach after the show still soaking wet but getting a little dry.

"I don't know maybe go to the hotel, get changed and go to the gyrosphere how about you?" Zach asked.

"I was going straight to the gyrosphere cuz waiting in  line is already going to make me dry." I said.

"Well maybe we'll see each other in the fields.But knowing you, it'll be hard to grab your attention with your phone in your hand." I said. I turned to leave, but was still in ear shot to hear the last sentence.

"Trust me. You'll always get my attention."
