Chapter 3

The bright, sunny, warm morning came around. Kip had woken up first. She got up and made a cup of warm coffee. She started humming. Then, she started singing very quietly. Nobody could hear her. Kip was a very talented singer and she loved to do it. Of course, she was singing a Sev'ral Timez song. "Girl why you acin' so cray-cray?"
"CRAY-CRAY!" Said Twyla, coming up behind her.
"Oh, Twyla!" Said Kip, shocked. "I didn't hear you get up!"
"Of course you didn't, I'm a great sneaker! Anyway," Twyla said, walking up to the counter to get some hot cocoa, "did your dad really come last night?"
Kip sighed and nodded, "Yeah... but he was just checking on me... since we haven't talked in a bit." She sat down on the counter. "I wish we could meet Sev'ral Timez..." She sighed and started singing, "C'mon baby won't you fly with me... take my hand it's our destiny..."
"Yeah so do I." Said Twyla. "So, what did your dad say?"
"Nothing much, just about enslaving dimensions, normal stuff." Replied Kip.
"..."
"Twyla? Is everything ok?"
"It's just... Your father is an inter dimensional dream demon, and that's so cool! So that would make you one too I guess?"
"Y-yeah..." Said Kip, blushing.
"Well... You're special, you matter and have a purpose. But me, I'm just a regular old mortal human. I'm nothing compared to you and your dad." Said Twyla, looking down.
Kip frowned, "Hey now, I'm nothing like my dad. I don't want to rule all humanity, I just want friends and a normal life. You are so awesome!" Kip smiled and hugged Twyla.
Twyla smiled, still looking down. "Yeah, but I don't want a normal life. If anything, you're the awesome one!"
"Hmm....What do you want to be...?" Kip smirked and raised a brow.
"Well... I guess I just want to be cool like you... But... I've always wanted to control the elements specifically!"
Suddenly, Bill Cipher appeared. "How's it goin' Kip? Taylor?"
"It's... Twyla..." Said Twyla, grimacing.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, so what's going on, Sweetie Pie?" Asked Bill.
"Um, dad... We're just having something to drink. And SHHHHH, you'll wake the others!" Kip whisper-shouted.
"Others, scmothers, who cares!" Bill cheerfully said.
"What do you want dad?" Asked Kip.
"What do I want? Oh, who cares what I want? What matters is what you want, my dear." Bill's cane appeared and he pointed it at Twyla.
"M-me sir?" Twyla stuttered.
"Yes, you!" Said Bill.
Kip smiled at Twyla, "Whatever you want... He'll give it to you. Don't worry, since I'm his daughter I can take back anything he does." She whispered to Twyla.
Twyla smirked. "Well, Mr. Cipher-"
"Please kid, call me Bill." He said.
"Fine. Bill... if I know you, and I do, you were already listening to our conversation."
Bill nodded. "You're smarter than you look. So you want to control the elements, eh? Well, let's... make a deal..." Bill extended his hand, which was engulfed in blue flame. "What I want from you is-"
"Deal." Said Twyla, shaking Bill's hand without a second thought.
"Suit yourself, kid." He said.
A flash of blue light went throughout the room. Kip smiled at Twyla, "Now you're even more amazing."
Twyla looked at her reflection in the toaster. "I don't... feel any different..." She said.
"Oh trust me, kid, it worked. See ya later, Sweetie Pie." Bill patted Kip on the head and disappeared. Suddenly, Grenda came running into the kitchen. "GUYS, GUYS, GUESS WHAT!"
"What is it Grenda, is everything ok!" Asked Kip, jumping down from the counter.
"Everything is great!" Said Candy, walking out from behind Grenda.
"Grenda got Sev'ral Timez tickets!" Said Mabel, running into the room! All the girls suddenly started doing their fan girl screams!
Kip jumped in the air, "AHHHHHHHH!!" She fangirled. Dipper ran into the room and caught Kip in his arms, "Is everything okay?" He asked looking into Kip's eyes.
"Yes! Everything is perfect!" She kissed Dippers cheek and hugged him. "It's a dream come true..." She chuckled.
"Oh jeez, let me guess, a Sev'ral Timez concert?" He asked, rolling his eyes.
"Yes!" Said Kip.
"When is it?" Sighed Dipper.
"TONIGHT!" Yelled Grenda.
"We need to get ready!" Said Candy.
But before anyone could do anything, Twyla suddenly said, "G-guys... I don't- I don't feel s-so good..."
"What's wrong Twyla?" Asked Mabel, walking over to her.
"I-I-I..." Suddenly, Twyla fainted, but Mabel caught her.
"Guys!" Said Mabel, "W-what do we do?"
"EVERYBODY STAY CALM!" Yelled Grenda.
"Grenda's right," Said Dipper, "let's get her to the couch. Mabel, can you carry her there on your own?"
"I've got it." Said Mabel, looking down at Twyla. Everybody else ran to the living room, while Mabel walked as fast as she could.
Kip ran to the living room and started fanning Twyla with a magazine when Mabel laid her down. "She might have gotten a little overwhelmed." She looked up at Mabel and Dipper. She lied to them of course, she knew it was her father's dark magic, coursing through Twyla's veins.
"I'll be right back!" Kip said. "Dipper, get her some ice!" He nodded and she ran outside, "DAD!" She yelled. All of a sudden, Bill appeared and stroked her hair.
"How's my little pumpkin?" He cheered.
"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO TWYLA?!?!" She screamed.
"It was my deal, dearie! It was her well being for the powers. She should have let me finish! But as an immortal dream demon, you don't need any mortal friends, especially her. So I cursed her. If she lives through this, she will get the powers I promised her." Said Bill, cheerfully.
Kip fell to the ground and cried, "Why are you doing this...?" She trailed off and pulled her knees to her chest.
"Aww, sweetie, don't cry." Said Bill. "There's only a 75% chance she'll die!"
"B-but... can I help her?" Asked Kip, crying harder now.
"Jeez, Sweetie, if she really means that much to you..." He said, rubbing his temples, "Give her fire, water, earth, and wind. She'll heal soon enough." He said.
Kip ran back inside, "Dipper and Candy, go and get some water and put it in this pitcher." She said, handing them the empty pitcher of Mabel juice. "Grenda and Mabel, go and get some dirt and bring it inside, then you can add it to the water."
"ALL RIGHT!" Yelled Grenda.
"B-but why are we doing this, Kip." Asked Candy.
"Don't worry about it," Said Kip, "Just go."
Everybody scurried to get their assigned ingredient. Kip started talking to herself. "And as for me," she said, her finger lighting up with blue flames, "I'll get the fire."
