Chapter 5

Outside the Mystery Shack, 10:20 pm)
"Wow! That was probably the best night of my life!" Kip smiled.
"Same here!" Said Mabel. "Hey, how about another sleep over?"
"YEAH!" Everyone shouted.
"GREAT!" Said Mabel, "I'll go get the movies!"
"Woo-hoo!" Cheered Twyla. She was so excited to be spending another night with Mabel. When she started flying from the concert, Mabel had been scared at first and had held onto Twyla very tight. Twyla enjoyed the feeling the whole way to the Shack.
Everybody walked inside, aside from Twyla, who still flew, and Kip went upstairs to say hi to Dipper. "Hey Dip!" She giggled cheerfully.
"Hey Kippy!" He smiled and gave her a kiss on the head, since he was taller than kip.
"So... um..." Said Kip nervously, "A-anything about T-Twyla...?"
"I have a hunch what happened, but I don't see how it could've happened."
"O-oh..." Said Kip. She didn't want Dipper to know that she knew what had happened, or that it was her father, Bill Cipher. "W-What did you find....?" She asked as she stuttered, not looking him in the eyes.
"Well, I think it might be the work of an inter dimensional dream demon known as Bill Cipher, you probably haven't heard of him."
Kip's head was in her hands. She was sweating. Her heart was beating fast. "I... I..." She was afraid that if she told him that Bill cipher was her father... that he would leave her... "I've... heard of him..." She said, hesitantly.
"Ok, well I think it's his magic that has affected Twyla, but I can't be sure why he did it or when it happened."
"N-neither can I!" Said Kip, laughing nervously.
"Well if y-"
"Well, bye, Dipp!" Kip said as she left the room.
Kip ran downstairs and pulled Twyla into the kitchen, away from Mabel, Candy, Grenda. "Twyla, we have a problem."
"What is it, Kip?" She asked. She had summoned her wings away again.
"It's Dipper, I think he's catching on to what happened."
Twyla's eyes went wide.
"I think... I should go." She said.
"What? Why?" Asked Kip, in shock.
"I don't want to make trouble for you... or your dad..." She said.
"But Twyla-"
"No. I'm going outside for a while, I'll be back around midnight." Twyla summoned her wings and flew out the door, smiling back at Kip. Kip checked her watch, it was only 10:27. Kip sighed and went back out to Candy, Grenda, and Mabel.
"WHERE'S TWYLA?" Grenda asked.
"She's just getting some fresh air, she's got a bit of a... headache..." She lied.
"Oh, poor Twyla." Candy sighed. She then smiled and went back to taking pictures of Waddles. Kip glanced out the window and looked at Twyla. She sighed and grinned a bit.
"Guys, we can't just leave her out there! There's things out there, like vampires and zombies and... and... gnomes!"
"OH RELAX, MABEL!" Said Grenda, "TWYLA WILL BE FINE, SHE'S MAGIC NOW!"
"Yes," Said Candy, "She can protect herself!"
"Well I don't care! My friend needs me and I am going to give her emotional support!" Mabel yelled, walking to the door.
"I don't know, Mabel," Said Kip, "She looked like she wanted to be left alone."
"EMOTIONAL SUPPORT!" Yelled Mabel, as she slammed the door and ran outside. She came back in a few seconds later. "She's on the roof." Mabel said, calmly, as she went to the ladder and climbed up it.
Kip stayed in with Grenda and Candy before going upstairs, "I'll be back guys I promise!" She went up to Dipper's room and hugged him from behind, "Hey little genius..." She whispered in his ear, smiling.
"Hey. I heard the door slam. Was Grenda mad again?" Asked Dipper.
"Haha no," Said Kip, "Mabel went up to the roof."
"The roof? Why?" Asked Dipper.
"Twyla got a bit upset so she went outside and I guess flew up on the roof to think and Mabel went to talk to her." Replied Kip.
"Wanna spy on them?" Asked Dipper, smirking.
"Definitely." Said Kip, smirking back.
"I'll go get the video camera!" Said Dipper.
"I'll go get Candy and Grenda!" Said Kip, giving Dipper a high five.
Kip ran downstairs and stopped mid-way, "Candy! Grenda!" They both looked up at her.
"Yeah?" They asked.
"Wanna spy on Twyla and Mabel...?" Kip smirked.
"OF COURSE!" Grenda yelled.
"Yes!" Candy said smiling and running upstairs with Kip and Grenda. The girls ran to the roof where Dipper was already waiting. They all ducked behind the Mystery Shack's sign and Dipper pressed record on the camera. Mabel and Twyla were sitting together and Twyla had summoned her wings away again. Dipper zoomed in so he could hear what they were saying.
"I just don't know what to do, this is awesome and everything I've ever wanted. But... I feel like a freak now, and I think your brother is getting kind of paranoid around me." Said Twyla.
"Well... I don't know what my dorky brother thinks, but I think you're the coolest person ever!" Mabel said.
"R-really?" Asked Twyla, blushing.
"Well, yeah!" Mabel giggled.
Twyla giggled too, then she took a deep breath. "Mabel... there's something I have to tell you..." she said as she looked down and twiddled her fingers, nervously. "What is it Twyla?" Mabel said, smiling.
"You've always been there for me, and you've helped me through so much. You're such an amazing person and... I... I... I love you..." Twyla said, still looking down.
Mabel blushed wildly.
"I know you're not interested, but I thought I might as well-" Twyla said before Mabel cut her off by colliding their lips together.
