Hey guys! I'm SO sorry it took over a month to update. I've been super busy with school and friends. But hey, I promised that I'd get a chapter out, so here it is! I hope it's not too late.

This chapter is dedicated to IKillButter, because she gave me the idea that comes up at the end of the chapter. I'm super happy she gave me this idea, because I think it'll turn out well.

Anyways, I think I've kept you from this story long enough.

Please enjoy :)

Sun light poured into my room. Why was it light this early? I looked over at the clock to see that it was 7:15. Shit. I had over slept by an hour, school started in ten minutes!

I jumped out of my bed and started digging through my clothes; I grabbed the first thing I saw: jean shorts and a tee-shirt that I got this summer from the juvenile walk for diabetes. Once I got my clothes on, I slipped my feet into my rainbows, and pulled a brush through my hair.

After brushing my teeth, I ran down the stairs and grabbed my book bag and an apple out of the fruit bowl. I took a bite, a bitter taste went through my mouth before a piece came off. I took the apple from my mouth. Wax? Awesome, mom replaced the real fruit with fake fruit. I threw it back into the bowl and grabbed a granola bar. Walking past the coffee table, I took my phone from the charger and checked my messages.

I had one unread message from Owen: Can you come and pick me up? I got a flat.

It was sent almost thirty minutes ago. He had probably found another ride, probably from Kyle, or some girl. Probably the second option. Owen’s relationships never lasted long; he’s much more of a player; which is why I don’t like the fact that Jocelyn likes him. Oh well.

I decided to call him, “Hello?” He answered.

“Hey, sorry I over slept,” I said, my voice groggy.

“You do know that school starts in about three minutes?” He asked me.

“Yeah. Do you still need a ride?” I offered him. He went quiet for a moment before responding.

“No, I’ve been at school for about fifteen minutes. Lisa Donaldson gave me ride,” He said, I could tell he had a smile plastered on his face.

“Very funny. But okay, I’m just about to leave. I’ll see you in a bit,” I told him as I pressed the disconnect button.

I arrived at school exactly twelve minutes late, according to my tardy slip. I ran across campus to my chemistry class. When I walked in, I felt all eyes on me as I handed my slip to the teacher. He told me to take my seat. The only seat left was one in the front of the class, so I had no other choice.

The class went by slow, as usual. Chemistry has always been my least favorite, well ever since I started taking it. Science has always been my least favorite, and since chemistry is part of science, I automatically didn’t like it. So long story short, I was glad when the bell finally rang. I was the first one out of class, but the last one to get to my next class: English.

English is the class that I have with Kyle. So when I walked in, he had my seat already saved for me. I walked to the back of the class, all eyes on me. When I took my seat next to Kyle, there were hushed whispers and looks where passed.

“They’re not onto that rumor, right?” I whispered to Kyle. The first week of school, someone started a rumor that he and I are dating, and that’s only because they saw us hug in the hallway. I mean, am I not allowed to hug one of my best guy friends without someone turning it into something it’s not?
