My master was teaching me some tricks. Every correct one, I get a cookie.
"Here, Blue." He tossed me a bone-shaped cookie. It was delectable!
I walked inside, my tail wagging. My master followed in, smiling.
"Jump! Lay down! Sit up!"
"Hey Drew, pass me the sugar," his wife said while staring at the recipe.
"Sure." He passed it to her.
"Thanks!"
"Welcome."
I barked, loud and clear at my master. He seemed startled by that and frowned.
Isn't it obvious I wanted cookies? I wanted to ask, but couldn't.
He affectionately stroked my head, as if saying you ate a lot already.
He held my leash and pulled, meaning it's time to go back to my house.
"Come on, Blue. You can play with Addie and Maxon later."
I wagged my tail faster when I heard their names. Those two were my master's kids.
I got outside and slept in my dog house. It was cosy and neat, the way I liked it. Hours later, I smelt something, a scrumptious smell.
It wafted its way towards me and I dazedly stood up and followed the sugary smell.
Frey was holding a tray with lots of... cupcakes! I love cupcakes. I jumped and howled at her to get her attention.
She smiled, and wrinkles appeared on her forehead. "Hey there, you cute Siberian husky. You want some cupcakes, don't you? Your sweet tooth is getting larger and larger."
I tried to smile and nod, barking softly. She got a green cupcake and showed it to me. I shook my head, no. Red, violet, orange, yellow, I tried to say no. At last, she held up a gold, blue, black, and plain cupcake. I gobbled it all since there was still a lot left.
I knew she was just teasing me but I was really hungry. I barked happily and licked her hand.
"Blue, I don't like being licked."
I just yapped and trotted off to leap in the arms of Addie as she was coming out of her room. Maxon yawned as he too got out his room.
"Blue! I'm still wearing my pyjamas," she giggled.
"Addie gets a hug and I don't?" Maxon grumbled.
"It's because he loves me more. Don't you, Blue?"
I nodded, or attempted to, anyway.
Addie stuck her tongue out at Maxon.
"Whatever." Maxon left.
"Blue, do you want to come to the park with me and Maxon?" I yowled and she called Maxon to hurry up and he answered I know.
"I'll take a quick bath and come fetch you. Go to your kennel, okay?"
I left and waited for Maxon and Addie to get me. They should really hurry up. I'm pumped up and ready to go on a sprint.
"Blue! Let's go, little man!" I heard Maxon call out.
I dashed to Maxon, noticing that Addie wasn't there. Where's Addie? I wanted to ask.
"Blue, Addie is washing the dishes. Let's leave her." He smirked.
I snarled at him, showing my sharp teeth. We will wait for Addie!
Maxon nodded and smiled then started running off to the direction of the park. I had no choice but to run after him and make sure he was safe.
Maxon was panting as he reached the park but he beamed at me, as if implying that that wasn't so bad.
"You two left me alone!"
I gazed at Addie and hopped and barked at her while Maxon ran for his life.
Addie and Maxon were laughing and I barked. They chased each other around, buying ice cream for each other and playing around.
Once, they both fell on the grass and I darted off to do the same.
They looked at each other. At me. Each other. At me. Then they began snorting and chortling all at the same time.
I howled and realized that I'm living a good life and that I am extremely blessed to have such cool and caring owners.
Thank you for being so awesome, Andrew, Freya, Addie, and Maxon.
I wish someone would hurry up and make a device that would make animals and humans communicate with each other.
For now, I'll have to say it through my barks. I'm pretty sure they work well.
