This is me, I think

I walked up the corridor and went into the classroom. It was art and I took my place next to my best freind, Chloe. I liked art in fact it's my favourite lesson. At the moment we're doing Vincet van Gogh. This doesn't particulaly intrest me because  it's basically copying a picture. not much creaivity there. Not that I'm that much of a creative person but I don't like copying art. I don't really know why; I just don't find it intresting. 

Art passed quickly and not much happened.  I just drew and chatted and that really was about it until the end of the lesson, when Mrs. Peterson, the art teacher, asked me to talk to her after the lesson. The bell went for the end of the day but with my luck I'll be another ten minutes. I made my way over to Mrs.Peterson. 'Hi, Alexis. I have something to tell you,' she began, 'you know the summer picture you drew a couple of months ago. Well, I entered it into an art compotion. And you are one of the finalist and the winnner is going to to be announced in two weeks.However, It's up in Scotland so I'm going to take you up along with some other students who I entered and are finalists.'

'Oh my God. I didn't even know that you entered me, and becoming a finalist is amazing!' I replied.

'Ok so you need to take this letter home. Get your parents to sign it and bring it back as soon as possible. You can ask a friend to come if you want but Chloe is coming because she's head of school council and needs to take notes for the school neewspaper.'

'OK and thank you.' and with that I left with disbelief. I couldn't believe that I was a fiinalist in a compotion that I didn't even know I'd beenentered in.

Ok so I know this is pretty rubbish but never mind. I hope to update at least once a week. I don't really know where I'm going with this story either. I also won't be doing many author notes because I find them extremely annoying. HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!
