Chapter 7

Percy's Pov

I headed to the car that Grover stole from a drunk guy coming out of a bar. It was a black and was one of those new sport cars. Annabeth jumped in the driver seat and Grover went in the passenger seat so that let me and Autumn in the back seat alone. Autumn gave the map to Grover because she didn't understand a thing that the map showed her. I lied down on her lap to see her face surprised and then started to blush. Annabeth started the car and told us that we were going to Aunty Em's Garden Gnome Emporium to find the first pearl. I closed my eyes to fall asleep but I felt Autumn's hands playing in my hair. I smiled and fell asleep.

Percy's dream

I saw Kronos holding Autumn over a cliff. She was hurt badly to the point that she would need some medical attention right away. I guess she was unconscious because her eyes were closed and her body looked lifeless but she was breathing. I looked at the cliff it was a deep and dark the kind that you would think had no ending to. I charged at him with my sword in my hand who was now glowing with a golden aura but I didn't care the only thing on my mind was saving Autumn. I swung my sword at his foot which turned into dust and floated to what looked like a golden tomb. I looked at Kronos who was loosing his balance. He let go of Autumn who was now falling down into darkness. I tried to catch her but I failed and I saw my girlfriend fall to her death...

End of his dream

I shot up from Autumns lap and looked around to see her sleeping. I let out a breath of relief. I saw Annabeth in the passenger seat and Grover in the drivers. "Guess they switched" I thought to myself. We stopped at a large building filled with plants and statues of people that are looked scared of something. "Are we here?" She asked us half asleep, half awake.
"Ya get your bow ready we never know" I took out my pen.
"No don't they're might be mortals in there" Annabeth said while getting out of the car. I did the same but I didn't put my pen away. I saw Autumn playing with her necklace not nervously but just like me she wanted to be prepared for whatever is going to happen once we walk in there.
