The next day I explored an entirely different part of our property, as far from that tree as possible. I had just climbed over a log when I heard a sign of human life. It wasn't a twig snapping or anything else that you see in movie that really actually never happens. It was a bird flying off. I have pretty good instincts (if I do say so myself) and so I guessed that the person or animal was standing in the area that the bird flew from. I cautiously walked over there, in case there happened to be some vicious animal waiting for me. "Hello? Anyone he-" "YOU ARE TRESPASSING ON MY LAND" a female voice screeched. I looked down. Sure enough, a bent down plastic fence laid 2 feet behind me. "Your explanation?" I had almost forgot about the girl. I looked up and saw an average looking girl with white blonde hair, pale skin, freckles, and green eyes. Her eyebrows were arched and her arms were crossed. "My umm... Explanation is... Umm... Bye!" I yelled then ran back in the direction I came. I am a very fast runner. I can out run a herd of elephants and my dad when he is angry. So I wasn't surprised when I reached the edge of the forest with out being stopped. Until I saw a figure standing ahead of me. "Stop!" the girl commanded. "You need also an explanation for breaking my tree. You have already earned a top spot on my hate list" I sighed. "Well, I'm honored, truly, but I have to go..." I said trying to walk away. "No you aren't. You are helping me put my swing back up." And then grabbing me by my hair, she pulled me to the place I told myself I wouldn't go back to.
