Jin opened the door but something stopped him from walking out of it. A man with blonde hair stood in his way.
"Uncle Lars?"
"Hey Jin! Is dinner over already?"
"Um, no there's still something for you to eat if you're hungry." Jun said as she forced a smile on her face.
Suprised, Jin stepped aside and let Lars in. Lars sat down at the head of the table.
"Long time no see huh brother?"
"Yeah, I guess it is." Kazuya smirked.
"That's kinda messed up how I don't get a hello." Lee complained.
Jun motioned for Jin to come back to the table. Hesitantly, he did as his mother told him.
"Well you were adopted Lee and Pops always favored you the most so why should we see you as a brother?" Kazuya protested.
"Look could you guys just make up and get over the past?" Asuka began, "Uncle Kazuya, you're upset because Grandpa threw you into the volcano right? And you sold you're soul to the devil for power to defeat him right? Uncle Lee, even though you are adopted, we still love you. And Grandpa still throws you around as if you are worthless. Uncle Lars, he left you and your mom back in Sweden right? Jin, even though Uncle Kazuya left you and Aunt Jun alone, he came back today. But you know good'n well that if Grandpa didn't throw him down the volcano, he wouldn't have done that to you."
"Seems like the man behind you all's rivalry is Heihachi." Hwoarang said.
"You know what? You guys have a good point." Kazuya said.
"I agree." Lars said.
"I say we go after him. He's made all of our lives miserable." Lee said.
"Yeah, let's do it then." Jin said.
They all laughed and Jun began to feel relieved for the first time in a long time. For the first time, they all got along well and she could tell that things were going to be okay.
Hopefully, it'll stay like that.
