Being a teenager is hard. As the weeks wear on, I find more and more things to occupy my time, and less available time to hang out with friends. My algebra homework by far is the most difficult, and with only the chubby know-it-all and the guy/girl in class, my tutor-possibility is looking pretty good.
At lunch I eat with Harper and her roudy group of rebels. On good days Jadyn will insist we go to the lake, mostly because he has a serious smoking addiction; and on days where the sky is the color of ash and rain falls in heavy sheets, we'll sit at the farthest table cracking jokes.Jerry and Brent stop by occasionally, asking if I am free to head to Nicole's or the local arcade; which I never am. I feel so bad constantly declining their invitations, but I honestly don't have time anymore. Most of the time, I have the house to myself. With both parents gone most would think I would have a wild party, but the truth is the only difference is I come out of my room and sit in the living room to do homework. My dinner's consist almost every night of leftovers or microwavable mac n' cheese. not exactly what you'd call a gourmet meal. But then again I'm not exactly a chef.
