Junior Year First day back
I worked pretty solid that summer. I didn't want to be the fat girl anymore. I worked hard to get down to 130 lbs. and it actually worked. Franki and my family helped me along the way. My mom even thought it was one of the best things I've done since my 8th grade spelling bee I won.

Now waking up to get ready to walk back into high school new clothes a new body I even discovered sephora on a journey from obesity to normality it all seemed unreal. I just got out the shower make up on dressed in light blue jeans a black shirt my black boots and my camo bomber jacket. I grabbed my keys to my new car said bye to my mom and left.

I met Franki in the parking lot. I hadn't seen him in a month he left in july so he didn't get to see the finishing product.

"Korina ?" Franki said surprised. "Whoa you look amazing. I mean you've always looked amazing but now you look happy and Amazing ." He blushed

"Thanks Franki " I smiled too while looking down "wanna go in ?"

"As long as I get to walk next to you" he said
"Of course" we walked in together as we always had and found our usual spot.

"You think anyone else has really changed since last year Franki ?" I asked he was staring at me "hello earth to Franki."

"Oh yeah what was that Kory ?" He asked. He was very off today.

"I asked if you thought anyone else has changed since last year ?" Just then I saw Calvin walk in. He was still as hot as he was last year but maybe even more. If only.... I saw him turn my way and his eyes became wide when he saw me. He began his way towards me. I was confused maybe he was going to some tall blonde behind me or something.My hands began to sweat.

"Hey." Calvin said looking at me but was he? I wasn't sure. I had to act casual.

"Me ?" I asked him turning around to make sure there weren't any other girls around. There was only me and Franki here. Franki annoyed rolled his eyes and sighed

"Yeah you. Are you new ? I'm sure if I've seen you here before I'd remember such a hot face" Calvin said he ran his hands through his platinum blonde hair.

"Nah not new I've been here since forever" I leaned forward and looked into his eyes.

"Oh." He looked embarrassed"what's your name ?"

"Her name is Korina and if you actually cared like she seems to believe you do you'd know that" Franki snapped "Honestly Korina I can't keep wasting my time. Call me when you realize you deserve something better"

I was hurt and confused. What the heck did Franki mean ? Why did he make a big scene for no reason ? He always only thinks about himself honeslty how shallow can he be !

"Your boyfriend is a total spazz Kourtney" Calvin commented adjusting his collar.

"Um it's Korina actually and he's not my boyfriend...."

Calvin seemed distracted and i turned to see what he was looking at it was a senior in a mini skirt "Yeah anyway I got to go but you should give me your number so we can chill" He pulled out his phone and I typed in my number and saved it under Korina. Calvin just asked for my number. Franki will never believe it
