I rushed out the cafeteria in search for Franki. I had to tell him the new. I found him hanging with some pot heads on the back steps.
"Franki ! Come on let's go I have amazing news." I grabbed his arm and began tugging him.
"Whoa Frank is this your girl ?Korina it is ? She's hot now." One of the guys said his name was River I had encountered him a couple of time b.s. (before skinny) but he had always called me pudge and not my actual name.
"Hey River" I said politely "Franki come on I have good news."
"Alright River I got to go hand some things we'll catch up later" they fist bumped. Franki and I walked arm and arm to the guidance office and got our schedules.
"So Calvin asked me for my number !" I began jumping up and down in excitement.
"Oh wow. That's uh good." Franki nodded
"Yeah it is he said we were going to chill sometime." I nudged Franki and he just shook his head in disappointment.
"I gotta run. I have Science for first but congrats on snagging a douche" He kissed my forehead and ran off before the bell rang.
I had Romilli first. I did a little dance in the middle of the hallway. Calvin wanted to hang with me and I had Mr.Romilli for my first period once again. Life was going great right now.
