Pureblood Fantasies (A Zero Kiryu Fanfic)

Chapter 4

"Katsuka wake up!" I hear Kaname growl. I groan and open my eyes. "What Kaname?" I narrow my eyes and yawn. "Why were you walking back with Kiryu last night?" He growls. I straighten myself up on my bed. "I did say I was feeling dizzy last night. Zero helped me walk back to the dorms," I rolled my eyes at him then stood up. "I don't want you near him," Kaname says sternly. I snap my heads towards him. "Why is that?" I growl. "Well, he is a bad influence and I don't want you tainted by him," Kaname growls back at me. I clench my hands into fists and my glass window breaks due to my anger. "Get out," I mumble. "What?" He narrows his eyes. "Get out!" I screamed then shoved him out of my room and slammed the door shut. I put my Night Class uniform on then jump out of my broken window then run off into the city besides the school. I find a café and go inside but to find Zero sitting alone drinking what seems to be coffee. I begin to walk over but then remember what he said. I bite my lip then begin to turn around until I hear my name. "Katsuka!" Zero calls then immediately stands up and walks towards me. "What do you want?" I growl. He looks at me confused. "I thought you didn't like vampires and never would," I growl, I tilt my head down so my hair is covering my eyes and I feel tears beginning to form. "Katsuka let me explain," Zero pleads. I bite my lip then sigh. "Fine, but not here," I say then grab his arm and drag him out of the café, running to an abandoned building and I enter it, walking up to the top floor where there's a huge window but no glass in the pane. "Explain," I let go of his arm. He sighs then let's go of me. "I know what I said was screwed up. But I don't like vampires, especially purebloods," He begins. I feel tears begin to form again. I take a step back. "Just stop right there, I don't want you to continue," I choke out. I begin to feel weak and try to leave the room we were in. Zero grabs my arm. "There is one pureblood I like though," Zero mumbles. I look up at him, silent tears streaming down my face. "W-Who is it?" I mumble. He tilts my chin up with his finger. "You," He whispers then moves closer to me and kisses me passionately. I swear I thought I was gonna melt. As I start to kiss him back I hear a voice I did not want to hear. "Katsuka!"

I instantly pull away from Zero and turn towards the fuming Kaname. His eyes are pure red and he looks like he's about to burst from anger. "Look Kaname-" I begin. "You," He growls, pointing at Zero. "You should've been killed by her when she killed your parents!" He screams. Zero looks at Kaname in shock and anger. "She? Who the hell is she?" I look at Kaname. "Shizuka," Kaname growls. I freeze up, knowing that name. She acted like an older sister to me and she could be the one draining me of my life. Just when I'm about to say something, Kaname jumps onto Zero and starts punching him. "Kaname stop!" I scream. Zero can't fight back because Kaname is too strong. I run over, grab Kaname by his collar, and yank him off of Zero, flinging him into the wall. I stand in front of Zero in a defensive stance. My eyes are glowing a fierce red. "You want to hurt Zero? You have to go through me," I growl. Kaname looks at me in shock and disgust. "You want to protect that thing!? He's on the edge of becoming a Level E! You have no time with him," Kaname smirks. I walk towards him and grab him by the collar. "Listen here, Shizuka could be the reason I am dying and every time I feel weak and I'm by Zero, I feel better. Zero could save my life!" I scream at Kaname. Kaname blinks then his eyes go back to his natural color. "Fine. But I still don't like him," Kaname growls. I smile but then I feel a fierce headache and I let out a yelp of pain. "Katsuka!" I hear Zero and Kaname shout out my name. I feel myself falling backwards and I land into something before my vision goes dark and I am surrounded my darkness.
