Katrina's POV
BACON. The smell of the smoked meat wafted through my room. Even from my bed I could hear the sizzle of the bacon protesting against the heat.
'No, you don't need any food. You're already too fat.' I sighed heavily before slowly outstretching my arms.
Another day to suffer through.
After slipping on some clothes, I walked down the dark hallway and into the kitchen.
"Morning." Josh smiled from in front of the stove.
I should really be upset that he's here. My relationship with Tyler is ruined because of him.
'No, Katrina, you're the whore that couldn't keep her legs closed.'
In any case, I'm happy Josh is here. I don't understand why I ever hated him.
"Thank you... for last night." I said shyly, slipping into a seat in front of the bar.
"Of course. I'll always be there for you if you need me, Kat." I smiled in thanks.
Josh walked over to me and laid a plate of food down. Without thinking, I frowned.
"What's wrong?" Josh questioned. He sat down across from me with a plate of his own.
"I uh- I'm not hungry." I lied, biting my lip.
"Kat..." Josh trailed off.
"I really appreciate it Josh; it was really sweet of you. I'll eat it later. I promise." He nodded his head in defeat and stuffed a slice of bacon in his mouth.
Suddenly, my phone started vibrating. Josh's face paled. What was that about?
Sliding my phone out of my pocket, I tapped the green button.
"Hello?"
"Kat? It's been way too long!" A squeaky voice yelled.
"Hunter! Oh my god!" I hopped off my bar stool and walked out the patio French doors connected to the kitchen.
"We need to get together sometime. I heard Tyson is having a 'little get-together' tonight."
"Hunt... I stopped doing that a while ago..." I sighed running my fingers through my hair.
"Oh... good for you though! Maybe I could come down to the shop some time to finally have you tat me." I laughed.
"Hunt, you know I don't like tattooing people I know. It makes me nervous that I'll mess up or you wont like it."
"Kat, there is nothing you could do that I wouldn't like. Well, I have to go. The offer still stands for tonight. Text me if you change your mind."
"Will do. Bye, love." I hung up and walked back into an empty kitchen.
Where did Josh go?
Suddenly, a pair of arms laced around my waist and twirled me in a circle. A high pitched squeal escaped my lips. Josh set me back down but left his arms around me, while laughing at my reaction.
"Asshole! You scared the shit out of me!" I fake-scolded, punching his arm. I looked up at his amused face and locked eyes. He leaned down, connecting our lips softly. His tongue glided across my lower lip. I granted him access and he began exploring my mouth. I battled him for dominance, our tongues wrestling. Soon, I pulled my tongue out, lightly bit his lower lip, and pulled away before things got too heated. A growl hummed from deep in his chest.
"That's not fair." Josh said in a sexy, deep voice.
"Maybe later," I placed another kiss on his cheek, "Movie time?"
