He parks the car and grabs my hand, "No Britta. A lake is where I ruined our relationship and a lake is where I'm gonna fix it."
I smile and we get out of the car.
"So what are we gonna do?"
"Well we could just walk along the shore and talk about life" he says while making an awkward smile.
I laugh and nod, "Ok let's do it. But promise me we'll take one of those "goals" pictures by the water."
He smiles, "definitely"
"Aw man it came out blurry" Weston says showing me his phone.
"No it's cute I like it like that"
We sit down in the sand after our long, long walk.
"Listen Britta, I do really love you. And when I flipped out I should've let you explain. I was just furious that such a close friend would do that. But I guess we need to accept that we aren't perfect, and we're gonna have fights. That's how relationships work."
I lay against him, "but I don't wanna fight. I want us to be perfect."
He sighs, "I know babygirl, but we live in an imperfect world. Haven't you ever heard the phrase 'opposites attract'? Well, we're opposite because you're perfect and I'm not. I love you Britta. Will you be my girlfriend, again?"
I smile and lift my face up to give him a kiss, "yes babyboy"
He chuckles,"babyboy?"
"You call me babygirl so I shall start calling you babyboy." I say laughing.
He pulls me close to him, "ok but don't say it often."
"Are we sleeping in the car again?" I say yawning.
"Yeah.. I'm sorry. I want the best for you, I do.. but it's just why pay money to stay somewhere when we could rather save our money for other things you know?"
"No babe it's fine. I just wanna be with you."
I wrap around him and eventually doze off.
Weston Pov:
Britta fell asleep on me so I picked her up and carried her to the car and laid her down with a blanket on top of her.
I went in my spot and went on my phone for awhile before I went to bed.
I went on Instagram and posted our picture before plugging my phone in and falling asleep.
