Authors Note: Dear readers, before you all enter into knowing the life of Emily, I need to tell you that, at times anyone of you may feel that this story is a bit too leaning on Emily's viewpoints. Actually, I took Emily as the main protagonist and hence, it might be so. But, overall, it's a short story that would surely connect you to some moments of your life. My story below took a dramatic twist, maybe your real one be full of fantasy, probably something that goes beyond my imagination. Anyhow, if any grievances still up rise (whether in my mind or yours) revision of the story would be done.  ~ Stuti (Thanks to hold on your excitement and read this message.)

A river of excitement flooded down Emily Spencer's soul and made her feel new. The feeling was as new as her uniform paired with brightly polished shoes; new like her new books that made her bag weigh 20 pounds. But this was the weight Emily was happy to bear on her little shoulders, for she was going to attend her first day at the New Hope Academy after her father's transfer in the new town. Emily was a cheerful girl, full of happiness who always wore the prettiest smile of the town on her face. Awaited for the bus to arrive at her stop, Emily or we'll call her Em was lost in a new world.

Arrived school, Em grinned and chimed to the Principal, Mr. Hoodings

"Good morning Sir" as she smiled as widely as she could.

"Good morning to you too, young lady," the principal returned the smile.

"Welcome to our school."

"Thank you sir," she nodded before looking around.

"May I know where the boards are? The one pinned up with the list of all the students and their classes?" The principal asked one of the students to show the way to little Miss Emily.

Students were arriving from the class door. All the chaps gazed at Emily when they saw a girl with long silky hair, oiled and tied up into two plaits. She wore an ironed uniform and seemed to have all the traits of a good student.Emily adjusted herself at the first bench near the teacher's desk so that she is always in the catch of the class teacher. As soon as it was 7:15 am and the school bell was about to ring the teacher arrived and the class stood to wish the teacher 'Goooooood Morning' just as they were singing a nursery rhyme and everyone in the class rushed outside to gather in the prayer hall.Every chap was chit – chatting with their friends, about vacations, results, upcoming goals and much more except, Emily. She was looking here and there to follow her classmates and at the same time also in search of a new friend when suddenly a cheerful voice arrived.

"Hie, new girl I suppose? Myself Stacie" said a girl with spectacles on her nose.

Emily looked back. It was Stacie who saw Emily being pushed in the crowd.

"Hello,I am Emily, Emily Spencer." an excited voice said.
