"As cute as that is kissing on a hill with the sun rising, we need to go"

Nico's P.O.V

"Our eyes will get puffy from crying and we don't want that do we?" Aphrodite asked Annabeth as she tilted her head sideways.

"No, we don't," Annabeth said with a fake smile, wiping her eyes so the love goddess couldn't see.

"Good. Now we have some business to attend to and you and some of your friends are the centre of it I believe." She replied.

"We should get inside. We don't want any of these little demigods to catch a cold." Hera spoke up from the group of Olympians.

"We're not little." I said with a glare and the ground shook underneath us and bony hands came from underneath the ground. Ooops don't know my own anger. 

"Enough Nico!!" my father Hades and Zeus said in unison. I sent the hands back into the earth and looked at Hera's big evil smile. 

"Welcome back to Camp Half-Blood my family." Mr. D interrupted the silence that fell upon everyone outside.

"Nice to see you all cheery," Persephone said sarcastically. Wait a minute, Persephone! When did she get here? I must have really not seen her.

"You too." Mr. D replied to the underworld queen.

"Come inside." Chiron said to everyone and we all followed. We all went inside the big house and all sat around a very large conference table that was covered in pictures of different quests from different demigods who came to camp. I really can't believe that everyone can fit around this table,  Zeus was at the head of the table with my dad and Poseidon next to him, then the rest of the Olympians, then us demigods.

"We're here today to finalize which demigods are going to Goode High School where the demigod Perseus Jackson is attending." Zeus piped to start the finalization.

"Yes we are lord Zeus." Chiron said at the demigod side of the table at the head with Annabeth on his right. Ever since the wars Percy and Annabeth were voted as camp leaders and then the rest of the seven, it also included me but I never really played it to my advantage. Well except maybe when I'm lonely and I want to be with Will. 

"Good." Zeus replied to the centaur's answer.

"The demigods going are Annabeth Chase, Thalia Grace, Jason Grace, Piper Mclean and Nico di Angelo, correct?" Poseidon said reading off a piece of dry kelp.

"That's not correct." Will says and I look at him with a concerned face. I was feeling super scared on what he was going to say.

"Excuse me son of Apollo?" Zeus asked looking at Will in the eyes.

"What are you doing Will?" Annabeth hissed at him.

"What's right in my eyes." he replied to her inquiry. I suddenly felt his hand grab mine and rub soothing circles with his thumb on the back of my hand. "You missed a demigod Zeus." he spoke up.

"Then who is it because Chiron sent me the list of demigods who's going to Goode?" Zeus asked him with confusion.

"It's me." Will said with his head held high.

"What?!" I said looking at him as he blushed

"Is that right Chiron?" Zeus asked.

"No. This the first I've heard of this." He said interested to what's now happening.

"Can you further explain please?" Apollo asked his son.

"I like Nico, like a lot and I can't bare to think that we are going to be in separate places for so long." Will replied. Aphrodite cooed at us and I smiled up at Will. I would have love for him to come but the camp needs a leader.

"Will, you can't come" I say, trying to keep my emotions away. "The camp needs a leader and you're the best person for the job"

"The son of Hades is right. We can not send you with them as we are unsure if it will attract too many monsters." Will chest looked deflated, I grabed his hand and squeezed it. "However, if all goes well you have a slim chance that you will be able to go" Zeus said and I could tell my face had brightened "That is for all in this room. If the demigods go alright at Goode then you may be able to go." Everyone around the table started smiling. Since the wars there had been no more quests so everyone was stuck in the barrier.

"Annabeth, Nico, Thalia, Jason and Piper, you will all leave tomorrow at 6 am sharp. If you are late then you will be punished. Understand?" Poseidon asked. We all nod our heads and all walk out. I walk with Will holding his hand as we make it to his cabin.

"I'm sorry you can't come" 

"It's OK, the needs a leader and I might be able to come later on"

"I don't know if we're going to have chance to say goodbye tomorrow morning, you'll need to organise your cabin and everything"

"Why don't you stay?"

"Will, we've tried this already. I have a big chance of getting killed"

"Come on please?"

"Ok" I say and we go into the cabin, it's very different from the Hades cabin. A lot brighter! We lie down on Will's bed and drift off to sleep.

-----Next Morning-----

I wake to the cabin glowing, gosh I hate the Apollo cabin in the morning, all the campers glow at 5:55. Wait they're glowing now! I jump up and end up falling on the ground causing a crash, Styx! The campers all wake up and start looking around, I try to shadow travel but there is no shadows to travel in. Will wakes up and looks down at me smiling. I stand up and point to the clock trying to stay quiet so I don't wake all the other campers up.

"Styx!" Will yells. Gosh he can be stupid sometimes "I mean rise and shine!" He yells "I expect you all to be ready by the time I'm back" We run out the cabin and into mine. I have a bag packed just in case so I grab it and Will throws me more clothes to stuff in it. We run to the hill and I see everyone getting in the car. 

"Guess I'm going to Goode"

"I guess you are." Will says and I hug him before starting to walk away "Nico wait." I turn around and face Will "I love you" 

"I love you too" I say and I lean up for a kiss.

"Alright you two!" Annabeth yells "As cute as that is kissing on a hill with the sun rising, Nico we need to go" I pull away and smile at Will.

"See you later" I say turning away. The first time we said I love you to each other and now I'm turning away from him. I sigh and walk down to the car and hope in. I sit next to Annabeth because that was the only seat. I look up the hill and smile at person that is literally glowing. "You know you and Percy are going to be like that when you see each other so can I interupt you?" 

"Well when Percy and I are kissing on a deadline then yes" 

I smiled at her then turn my head back to Thalia's tree, my home.
