Why does this happen to this demigod???

Percy POV

Annabeth and I were walking along the beach, a box was digging in the side of me and looking at the sunset I knew it was the perfect moment to do it. I stop, took out the box and got on one knee.

"Annabeth, I love you and through all the things that have happened and that are going to happen," Cue flaming rocks "I just want to you to be attached to me at all times, even when we are separated. So Annbeth Chase will you marry me?" I stare into her beautiful grey eyes
"Y-"
Ring Ring Ring
I open my eyes and slam my hand on the alarm. Why?? Whenever I have a good dream (mostly the same one) it always get ruined by the same ring.
"Percy! Stop complaining of the alarm cutting your perfect dream of Annabeth and get up!" I her my mum yell through the door. How did she know? I get up, stretch and walk out the door. My first day back at school, maybe it won't be so bad.
I sit on a chair and pull pancakes towards me and eat them.
"Aww look Sally Percy is sad an alarm stopped his dream" Paul taunted
"It was a really good one Paul!" I defend myself
"Percy, it's Mr Blofis"
"We're still in the house"
"We have to leave now so no we're not" Paul says getting up and pulling me to the door.
"Bye Sweeties have a nice day" I heard my mum call before I got in Paul's Prius and off we went to the fields of punishment oops I mean school.

I walked in and I straight away got a few looks but I kept walking to the office. I got inside and was met by Miss Pulsberry who was really nice the last time I came here.
"Hello," I smiled "my name is-"
"Percy Jackson, yes. I remember you." She said as she handed me my timetable, same boring subjects but at least I had Marine studies which hopefully won't be boring. I walk to my home room which surprise was Paul's room. I walk to the back of the room and sit in the chair in the corner. Everyone just looks at me and then sits down, some remember and some are girls that wear way too much makeup and their boyfriends staring at me and glaring at me. I didn't really take notice until a group of kids laughing walked in. They looked at Paul like they were expecting an answer and he just shook his head, they turned to get seats when their eyes stopped on me.
"PERCY! FRIGGIN'! JACKSON! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU" A girl said stomping over and whacking me over the head "YOU HAVE  GONE FOR ALMOST A YEAR! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Same old Crystal, always hitting and yelling.

"I've been no where that you need to necessarily know." I mumbled to myself.

"What was that?" she asked batting her eyelashes at me.

"I said that I've been no where that you need to necessarily know," I repeated what I mumbled.

"Can't you tell me Percy." Crystal said as she walked her fingers up my arm that made have the shivers on the inside.

"No and get away Crystal. I'm not your boyfriend and I never will because I have a girlfriend."

"Who's this girlfriend that I've just heard about?"

"Enough students." Paul interrupted, which saved me from telling Crystal Annabeth's name. Thank the gods for my step father.
