~Anise's POV~

I decided to worry about Seiran-kun later as Kaede's lips finally peels away from mine. We both gasped for our breath and silence hangs in the air after that.

"Uh..." I said, breaking the awkward silence, "It's getting late. Um... I need to go home..."

Still red faced, I look up at Kaede.

"I'll walk you home then." He said as he finally lets me off the wall.

I look towards the corner where Seiran-kun, or at least the person looked like Seiran-kun, was hiding. Nobody was there. Did I imagine that? I question myself as Kaede and I head toward my aunt's apartment complex. We didn't say a word the each other the whole walk.

As we arrive, Kaede stops at the front door, "Well, I'll be going. 'Night." He says as he gives me a quick kiss on my cheek. I blush. My hand automatically reaches up to the area he kissed and remain there even after Kaede leaves, after flashing one of his famous smirks.

The next day, Seiran-kun didn't talk to me nor had we made eye contact. But after school, he comes up to me with a sad expression across that cute face of his, with a slight blush. "What is it, Seiran-kun?"

He suddenly embraces me, "....Lady Anise..."

"Yes?"

"I-I..." He turns to look at me, "I-I love you!"

I nod, smiling as I pet his soft, blue hair. "Yeah, I know."

Seiran-kun shakes his head, "No!... I... I mean... I-I want a kiss too!" His innocent face turns bright red.

Then I thought back to yesterday. "Um... Seiran-kun?"

He looks at me.

"W-Was..." I didn't want to ask, but I needed to know!

"Was... Was it you who saw... What Kaede d-did...?"

"..."

"... Seiran-kun?"

Seiran-kun turns his gaze towards the ground, "... S-So? So what if it was me?" He looks straight into my eyes, his bright yellow eyes teary.

~3rd Person POV~

In a few seconds, Seiran pecks Anise's check and runs off.

Anise had a sad expression on. Oh no, did I hurt his feelings?... Anise thought to herself. She stood, frozen, not knowing what to do.

~Anise's POV~

The next day, Seiran-kun didn't come to school. I decided to take a risk and ask President Tenjo. Being the student council president, he has all the information on the status of all of the students in the school. Freaky, I know...

Catching him in the hall surrounded by fangirl, I started to back away.

Maybe I should ask Kaede.

But President Tenjo still spots me. He ignores all the other girls as he walks to where I am standing. "Anise-sama? May I help you with something?" He says with sparkles surrounding him.

Where did they come from? No one would ever know.

"Um... I was wondering why Seiran-kun didn't come to school today." I said.

"One second." Tenjo says and walks over to the girls. "Sorry, but I'm busy today. So if you would please give me and Anise-sama some privacy, that would be nice if you pretty ladies."

Privacy... That just makes it sound so weird... The girls give me glares and stomp off.

After they all left, Tenjo turns to me, "Now, where were we?"

"Uh... Just checking why Seiran-kun is absent today..."

"Oh him? Blue Rose is sick again, so he stayed home. Anise-sama, why do you care about a kid like him? Leave him and come with me instead!" Tenjo starts to wrap his arms around me.

Out of natural instinct, I release my Rose Thorn whip, striking him across the face.

Oops...

President Tenjo holds his face where it glows bright red from the thorns. His head cast down, so I couldn't see his expression.

He suddenly snaps his head up, a painful look across his perfect face.

Ooh crap...

"Anise-sama!"

I flinch.

"Please hit me another time!"

The feelings of fear was flooded over by feelings of disgust. I should've expected that.

Should've know that would be coming from him. Why does me White Rhode Knight have to be such a freak?!

This chapter is longer than usual, to make up for the late update... Gome-nasai... I was going to publish this tomorrow, but I'll be busy the whole weekend, so I published a bit early... But then also late... Idk... ( ' ▽ ' )
