~3rd Person POV~

As the bell rings, signalling the end of the school day, Kaede rushes to catch up with Anise.

"Anise wait!" He catches up with her, catching her wrist. "I need to talk to you." Surprise crosses the girl's face as the Red Knight leads her towards the back of the school. He suddenly stops.

~Kaede's POV~

I turn and look at the girl I love. "Anise..."

I pinned her to the wall, surprise still lingering in her eyes. I can't hold back anymore!

"Anise, I..." I blush, "I... I-I love you!" I blurt out.

I said it! I finally said it to her!

I look at Anise. A mix of emotions fills her beautiful pink eyes. Surprise. Embarrassment. Happy?

I feel like steam is coming out of my head.

~Anise's POV~

Did Kaede just say that? Did I hear that right? Looking at the red-faced Kaede, I knew I just heard the words I've been waiting to hear. Though it was a bit surprising and a lot of embarrassment, I've very happy to hear he and I share the same feelings.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't see that Kaede had started to lean in. As our lips meet, I caught a glimpse of a lock of sky blue hair dart behind a corner.

Seriran-kun? What's he doing here? What did he see?

I feel my face grow even hotter, if that's even possible.

~Seiran's POV~

I came back to the school grounds to make sure I had locked all the doors and windows, since I'm in charge of that this week.

As I rounded the corner leading to the back of the school, I hear Kaede confess to someone. I knew I'm not being a good boy eavesdropping, but I'm curious. Who would get Kaede all worked up like that?

Peeking over the corner, I see that Kaede has the girl pinned against the wall.

Long, pink hair... Lady Anise?

It's not surprising though. I'd known that Kaede has been in love with Lady Anise. Kaede suddenly leans down and kisses her on the lips.

My face flushes as I dodged behind the corner.

Even though I've seen them kiss before, (A/N: SPOILER ALERT) during Kaede's two awakenings, it still hurts seeing them together like that

Tears automatically fill my eyes.

Why? Why won't they stop.

I should be feeling happy for Kaede, but instead I feel pain. So much pain inside my chest.
