Short silly horror stories

So, a while ago, I wrote this little story for an English assignment, and my teacher loves it, and I thought I should share it here for a laugh, our task was to make an ordinary everyday object seem scary, and I chose a toothbrush, and to sum up this story I would say my mind can be creepy at times. :P Anyways, enjoy in whatever way you can.

(Imagine a scary narrator reading this aloud, haha)

They would avoid going near the electric toothbrush that stood up by itself.

Sounds silly? I know, but if you were cursed to see your mother's dark and hollow mouth everyday, you would know my torture.

Last night, I could hear the bathroom door lock, then mother's electric toothbrush started drilling, and just as I was able to drift off, I heard a scream.

Out of my slumber I ran, and then I heard a "knock", a "bang" and a screech from beyone my door.

I opened my door slowly and saw mum her eyes were a dark red, and her lips were covered in poor unfortunate souls. (By this I meant they were grey and lifeless)

Before I could ask, she opened her mouth...All I could see was darkness.

So yeah, that's the story I wrote, and I got 23/25 marks for it, so yippee!

No need to leave feedback, it's a creepy story, ik, heck, just comment anything, I know this side of my mind is creepy and I don't mind. :P Just call this a near-to Halloween prezzie.
