Chapter 4-Is This a Dream or Reality

Aphmau's POV

I sat staring out the window. I was bored and thinking.

"Aphmau, are you ok? That boy didn't hurt you right?" Katelyn asked me.

"No. He didn't. Well not physically." I said.

"Did he insult you? Did he yell?" Katelyn said.

"No, he...k_i_s_s_e_d me." I said. I decided to spell it out cause I was embarrassed.

"HE WHAT!?" Katelyn yelled angrily.

"Shhh, you gonna wake everyone up." I said. I went upstairs to my room and sat on my bed. I felt my phone buzz.

A-hi?

Aa-Its me Aaron. My brother gave me your number.

A- Oh ok. What's up?

Aa-well I was just wondering of you would like to see a movie with me tomorrow

A- sure why not

Aa-Really?!

A-yea, see ya tomorrow

Oh my Irene! Are you serious!

"Katelyn! We need to go shopping now!" I yelled, running down stairs.

"Why Aphmau?" Katelyn said.

"I need a dress Katelyn. I don't wear dresses every day ya know." I said.

"Why do you need a dress?" Katelyn said.

"For a date tomorrow! Come on!" I said and dragged her off to the mall. After a long time of searching we found clothing we both like. We ended up spending fifty dollars on clothes. Either way I found a perfect dress. (picture at top) How do I always end up spending a whole day at the mall? We went home and I put away my new clothes. I changed into a tank top and some short shorts and I went to bed.

I woke up in a grassy field. I stood up and looked around. I was wearing armor and a helm. I has a sheath with a sword in it and a dagger was laying on the ground. I looked up away from the ground to see three guard running at me. On has blue hair and blue eyes. Another had Brown hair and blue eyes and the last was also wearing a helm.

"Who are you?" the Brown headed one said, pointing his sword at me.

"M-my name is A- Aphmau. You g-guys remind me of my f-friends Dante and Laurence." I stuttered scared.

"You know us?" blue head asked. Brown head put away his blade and stared at me.

"So y'all are Dante and Laurence. Whose Helmet-head?" I asked.

"Don't call me that!" a voice that sounded like Garroth's yelled.

"That's Garroth." Dante said.

"Thought so. I recognized the voice." I said.

"What was your name again?" Laurence asked me.

"Aphmau." I replied.

"How can that be? Aphmau died a week ago." Dante said.

"W-what?" I asked horrified.

"I don't know. I thought she was dead too. Girl, what is your real name?" Garroth asked.

"My name is Aphmau! I'm not dead." I cried. Laurence pulled off my helm and stared into my eyes frozen.

"It really is you. I still don't know how though. You died! I watched as your own sister went crazy and stabbed you." Garroth said.

"M-mikala? S-she turned on me?" I asked unsteady.

"Yes. Oh, please don't cry Lady Aphmau!" Garroth said.

"W-why would she t-turn on me? S-she loves me. R-right?" I cried.

"I think she was having mental problems." Dante said. Laurence shook his head and stood up. I felt tears in my eyes as I heard that my sister betrayed me.

"Please Lady Aphmau, don't cry. Please don't." Garroth begged. He walked over to me, sat down, and pulled me into his lap in a tight hug. I hugged him back scared and confused. Is this a Dream? Is it reality? Is it another dimension?

"Shhh. Aphmau it's ok." Garroth said and I woke up to being likely shoken.

"Aphmau are you ok?" I heard Aaron's voice say. I felt tears on my face. Was I crying in my sleep? I still felt upset and I needed comfort.

"N-no. I-i just had the w-worst dream, or my spirit t-traveled to another world. I'm scared A-aaron." I cried. He sat me on his lap and hugged me while I cried into his shoulder.

"It's ok Aphmau. I'm here. You don't have to be scared." Aaron whispered.

"W-why are you h-here?" I said.

"Your friends said you were crying and mumbling in your sleep. They told me they couldn't wake you up and they wanted my help." Aaron said.

"I-im glad your h-here Aaron." I said. Then I realised I'm not in armor anymore and that I'm back in a tank top and short shorts.

"Erm..." I said.

"What's wrong? Other than you sleep troubles." Aaron said.

"I don't feel comfortable wearing this around people. C-can I go change?" I asked.

"Aww, I think you look cute." Aaron said. I blushed and sighed.

"I-i really would.." I started to say.

"Why?" Aaron said.

"Because, Aaron, you know boy, girl not much clothes." I said.

"It's not like you are wearing a bra and panties Aphmau so chill out." Aaron said.

"S-shut up!" I said, blushing more. The I noticed he had his jacket zipped up.

"Don't you usually have this unzipped?" I asked.

"Yea...it was cold out though. Would you rather it be unzipped?" he said.

"I-its not necacary! I'm just not used to it being zipped." I exclaimed. I swear my face was a tomato now. Every picture I've seen of him he has had his jacket unzipped and well, no shirt.

" You do realise I'm taking it off so I can sleep right?" He asked

"W-what?" I stammered.

"Don't think I'm leaving your side to night. I'll be here incase you have more night terrors." Aaron said. I nodded and layed down on my bed. He took off his jacket and he still wasn't wearing a shirt oh my Irene. I felt my blush come back and I looked away. He layed down behind me and pulled me close.

"Sleep well Aph. I'm right here if you need me." Aaron said.

"O-ok." I stammered and dozed off to sleep.
