Fauna's POV
"Alright kiddo! You're next!" a voice pierced the silence that had sprung through the sound of large splash, a struggle was put through the child I suppose....yet it knew the men wouldn't budge...so why? Why did you try so hard, child? You faced death as if it could be stopped, even though you knew it couldn't.... I wish I was like you...able to still have hope when all is hopeless......I except you death, bring me your power and take me...
"So long squirt!" another voice broke through as a pair of lone hands gripped the cloth that covered my weakened body and pushed...pushed me with a wave of force as the floor erased beneath me and I plummeted... The screams of others echoed in my ears, their battle cries awaken me and gave me a flicker of hope...dead or not, I'll scream...scream till someone chooses to hear and save the others, not me....
The cold hit me like a thousand stinging needle of fresh, freezing water that surrounded my body and mind. A wall of pressure built up and slammed itself against my weak and frail frame...bodies pressed themselves against mine as another pair of hands gripped the cloth. They pulled and pulled till I breached the water, my short hair had flung its tentacle like strands across my eyes, blocking my sight from gazing across my savoir... Then it all went black.....
Asuna's POV
"Alright team, we are the ones whom shall bring new members to Camp Plummet!" I raised my fist as I gazed among the sea like army that spread it's self across the bank. I flew my arm forward as the army leapt into the water after the falling children...our job was to catch and/or save as many of them as we could. Their screams pierced my ear drums that were filling with the water's salty influence. As I swam towards a larger child, a frail body was slammed against the sea beside me. I grabbed it's clothing and swam as fast as I could to the shore, the faster I went..the more time we had to save them......
I kept swimming, water filled my mouth, ears, throat, and stomach but I didn't care, I had to save this child.....I just had to...! No matter how long it takes, I will treat them from the time we return to camp to the time they die...! I promise.....
So there's my first chapter to my first story...! Sorry it's so short, I'll try to make the next longer and I'll try to update each day! Hope you guys enjoyed!~
