Come morning, Jane was the first to wake up.  She glanced over at Lucy and saw that the distance between the two was about a foot less than it had been last night.

Killian was sleeping lightly, blanketed by his leather jacket that rose and fell softly with every breath he took.  His dark eyelashes brushed on his cheeks, and a few strands of equally dark hair fell over his forehead messily.

Lucy woke to the sound of the Doctor's breathing.  Is he closer than last night?  Lucy wondered.  She glanced around the room.  There was Peter, the Lost Boys, Killian, and Jane.

"Jane," Lucy whispered.  Jane turned to look at her, and Lucy scooted closer to her.  "How'd you sleep?"'

"Fine," Jane said, and Lucy noticed her eyes flick towards the door.  She turned her attention back to Lucy and smirked.  "How'd you sleep?" she teased.

Lucy rolled her eyes, laughing softly.  A moment of silence ensued.

"Have you ever been in the TARDIS?" Lucy asked after a bit.  Jane shook her head.  "It's amazing!" Lucy gushed.  "It's so complex.  And he... He's so perfect."  Lucy smiled at the thought of him and Jane rolled her eyes, a faint smile on her lips.

"Did you know the Jolly Roger has four decks?" Jane whispered.  Lucy's eyes widened.  Before she could say anything, the Doctor stirred and sat up.

"Good morning," he said.

Lucy smiled.  "Morning, Doctor."

Killian sat up, awoken from the Doctor's not-so quiet voice.  "Ah," he hummed, rubbing his eyes.  "G'morning, love."

Jane looked down, blushing a bit.  "Good morning, Killian."

"I should go check on the TARDIS," the Doctor said, standing up.  Lucy hopped up beside him.

"I'll go too."

Before the Doctor could decline, she marched up the steps out of the Hollow.  Killian and Jane looked at each other and Killian shrugged.  They stood and followed them outside.

"Jane!" a sleepy voice called from behind her.  Jane turned and glanced back down into the Hollow to see Peter's thick, disheveled red hair poking into the doorway.

"Yes?" she said.

"Where're you going?" he questioned.

"We're off to check on the ship...s," Killian said, coming to Jane's side.

"Hold on just a moment, I'll come," Peter said.

"Don't bother," Killian said.  "I think you'd be better off here shooting birds with your band of orphans."  Jane gave him a look.

Peter scowled.  "What if you run into the Amazons?"

"Then I'll frighten them off with my devilish good looks," Killian said, flashing a grin.  Jane rolled her eyes.

"What do you think, Jane?" Peter asked, a challenge in his voice.  The grin faded from Killian's face.

"He does know the island better than we do," Jane pointed out.

"All the easier for him to lead us into a trap," Killian muttered.

"I say he comes," Jane said.

"Then come I shall!" Peter said, disappearing for a moment to grab his cloak.

"Oi!  What's the hold up?" the Doctor called from ahead.

"Jane's little leprechaun wants to come along," Killian said irritably.

"Then tell him to get a move on or we're leaving without him."

"Peter—" Jane began before Peter bounded up the stairs.

"Present!" he said, grinning.

"Unfortunately," Killian grumbled, turning away from them and starting in the direction of the TARDIS.  Lucy shrugged and followed, interlacing her fingers with the Doctor's.

Killian's adept hearing, which was usually a blessing, became a curse when walking ahead of Peter and Jane, who were speaking quietly amongst themselves.

"Where did you go?" Peter asked.  "I looked for you everywhere and you never came back."

"We had to move," Jane explained.  "I prayed you would visit every night so that I could tell you, but moving day came and you never had."

"Then leave a note—a letter.  Something, Jane!  Do you know how I felt when I returned to your house and the Girl in the Window was no longer you, but a prissy five-year-old named Sally-Anne?"

"I did leave a note," Jane said.

"Well I didn't find one."

"I suppose the new family threw it away."  Jane sighed.  "I'm sorry Peter.  I did everything I could to find you again.  I dropped a letter in a bottle in the river, hoping somehow that might find you.  I guess it never did."

"But you did," Peter said.  "You found me again.  Nine years I looked for you, Jane.  Nine years and you found me."  He laughed.  "You truly are something, Jane Darling."

The group trudged on for awhile longer before reaching the Jolly Roger.  Killian sighed as he ran his hand along his damaged ship.  Lucy and the Doctor headed for the deck.

"Doctor?" Lucy said.

"Yes?" he asked.

"You didn't move the TARDIS, did you?"

He shook his head.  "No, why?"

"Then someone else did," Lucy said.  The Doctor pulled himself on deck.  The TARDIS was nowhere to be seen.

"Is there a problem?" Jane called from the shore.

"The Doctor's TARDIS is missing," Killian said.

"Stupid Amazons," Peter said.  "It must have been them."

"That's impossible," the Doctor said, returning to the shore with Lucy.  "There's no way they know how to operate it."

"They don't have to operate it," Peter said.  "They just need a few sturdy movers."

The Doctor gave him a look.  "It's not a box."

"It is, actually," Peter said.

"It had special gravity features," the Doctor continued.  "It weighs more than this whole planet."

"Things are different on Neverland."

"What exactly do you propose we do?" Killian asked before the Doctor could argue any further.

"The Amazons live on an island," Peter said.  "Unless you think your ship will be in operation any time soon, I say we pay a visit to the mermaids."

A/N: The illustration shows kind of how we communicated and kept a (semi comprehensive) plot going. We never really had time to talk between classes, so we just wrote little notes in the margins about where we were going with the plot before we ran out of time in our boring classes.
