Chapter 4: Run!

           A/N: This chapter will be shorter than the others. I did not have enough time to complete the full version, so instead, I left this one on a cliffhanger..Sorry!  :(

              "SANS, YOU'VE ONLY BEEN WORKING FOR A DAY, AND YOU ALREADY WANT A DAY OFF?!", Papyrus huffed. "It's either that, or I go back to being how I was when I was depressed and stuff", Sans replied with annoyance in his tone. "UGH, FINE...BUT ONLY TODAY". "Sure, thanks....I'll be hanging out with Asriel today", "SANS, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!", but Sans was already gone. Papyrus looked at the time, "UGH, STUPID OLDER BROTHERS HANGING OUT WITH FLOWERS, I'M GONNA BE LATE!", he shouted as he left to meet up with Undyne.                                                                                                                                            Sans used one of his "shortcuts" to get to the inn, he saw Asriel perched on the steps outside , looking around. He was probably on the lookout for Papyrus or something. It takes awhile for him to notice Sans, but when he does, he perks up a little, "Howdy Sans, so ya finally came!". "Uh, sup Asriel, why isn't Frisk with you", he asked as he looked around. "Their still asleep, they were quite shaken up the other day from this....nightmare they had, I'll go wake them up", Asriel suggested as his vines took hold of the inn's door, Sans followed. Frisk wasn't asleep,they sat quietly on their bed, lost in thought about something, until brought back to reality when Asriel called out to them. They smiled the same warm smile they always had. "Grillby's?", they asked, Sans smiled "Sure", as the three headed out. A tall figure standing outside of the restaurant, at first, they ignored it, but as they walked closer they had realized it was Papyrus! Sans, took hold of Frisk as he was prepared to teleport, but it was too late, his brother had already spotted them. He walked up to the three, "SANS......IS THAT....THE HUMAN FROM BEFORE?!", he said as he approached Frisk. Papyrus lifed up his hand and was about Lift up his hand to grab them, but Sans pulled them away, "Papyrus, don't even think about it!", he snarled at the taller skeleton. Papyrus stepped back, which confused Sans, then millions of bones appeared around them, Sans tried to teleport, but nothing happened, he held Frisk and Asriel tightly, ready to be damaged by the impact of the bones, but instead of attacking, the bones surrounded them, as if making some type of protection, "SANS YOU IDIOT! UNDYNE IS COMING, AND IF SHE SEES THE HUMAN.....YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN, GO HIDE THEM SOMEWHERE!", Papyrus shouted, this indeed confused Sans, but he stayed quiet and obeyed his brother. The three were about to walk off when a blue spear grazed them and landed in the snow, it was Undyne's spear, as the moment got more intense, they heard her scream at them from behind "Human! Get back here!", she shouted, Sans snapped, and the land beneath them started to disappear, Asriel held on Sans with his vines tightly seeing as they were still not used to his teleportation.

               He teleported to the waterfall, but as soon as they arrived, Frisk's soul split in two.....
