Chapter 6: Confusing

Sans' P.O.V

"Shit! What the heck happened?! Nothing had even touched them, how did they die?!", I thought in a panic, this was the first time Frisk had died so far, but Asriel and I weren't back at the last save point, maybe it didn't fully work. I tried to remain calm, but to be honest, when a friend of yours just dies right in front of you, it's kinda hard to just keep your cool. I could feel Asriel wrapped around my arm shaking with horror, his expression full of shock. He turned to me, with frightened eyes, "S-Sans wha-", I stopped him mid sentence. "No time for chit chat, we have to get back!", I replied with a stern look, Asriel immediately clutched to me tighter, he was prepared for a teleportation back to the inn. With a snap, the world around us disappeared, and slowly dropped us back at Snowdin. I rushed right into the inn, smashing the door. As I ran upstairs, I could hear the innkeeper's voice screaming in anger, but I ignored it, even Asriel didn't seem to bother about my destruction. As I burst the door of Frisk's room open, I saw that no one was there, it was empty. Except, laying on the bed, was.....my jacket, Frisk did, appear back here, but had left? In an instant I started to panic, I could feel Asriel do the same. Maybe they got captured, I thought. Though either way, they would'nt be able to survive without our help, they could barely move. I took my jacket and looked at Asriel. "We have to find them", he said with a serious tone. I nodded, and dashed right out of the inn. 

Frisk's P.O.V

I walked up to Papyrus cautiously. It surprised me, how he suddenly just....helped us. In the last timeline, he had hated me, but I guess after the barrier was broken, there was no reason to hate humans anymore. He looked at me an expression that I couldn't read, though he always kinda looked upset about something. "HUMAN?ARE YOU OK?CAN YOU SPEAK?", he said. I didn't say anything, I just nodded, I was still trying to be careful, it was all just.....so....confusing, I just can't understand, I'm....back to my original state, but something isn't right, and I think Sans has felt the same, his expression shows it. Papyrus looked at me, studying my appearence, he then walked up to me slowly. I backed away, slightly startled. "GEEZ HUMAN, I WON'T HURT YOU, BESIDES....YOU WERE THE ONE TO  HELP US OUT OF THE UNDERGROUND", I looked at him. A bit shocked, he remembered? Well, I didn't reset anyways, but I.....kinda thought everyone would've forgotten by now. He extended his hand, I was about to take it when I heard Sans call me from behind. "Frisk! Stay away from him!".
